  • Here we look at the Hornby Class 66 R3785 66 731. Based on the old Lima model, this locomotive is in the condition before it was renamed after Captain Tom Moore.
    Although a basic model, we install one of Hornby's DCC sound chips from their TTS range - and find out how easy it is to upgrade a loco to DCC Sound.

    The Hornby 66 isnt bad at that price. Plenty of opportunity for detailing.

      Yes - although its based on the Lima model, Hornby have improved the chassis and pickups.
