I think this game was great, many people say that the RE2 remake was better but I still can't finish it due my anxiety seeing Mr X walking after me. I love the story of RE3 more because its shorter and I love the dynamic between Jill and Carlos, call me stupid but playing in RE2 for Leon or Jill is kinda the same thing, of course different story but you get the same locations but from different order, it would be cool if they make it one game where you have chapters where you play for Leon then for Claire...idk but the only thing I liked in RE2 is the Leon Noir outfit, in RE3 I loved absolutely everything and next year I'm probably going to replay it. 🥰 And your video is amazing of course
This game is really well done I did a second play through and liked it better but it really needed the park and maybe a 1hr and half clock tower segment maybe with an attached hotel or somthing.
It was short, but that shouldn't stop it from being a good Resident Evil game. But I agree that they could've added a little more, like the clocktower. Overall it's still decent and we do have replay value on it as well.

I think it’s more cause of the car has a complete model made. If we presume that RE3 was rushed, then the devs would rather re-use a car that has both an interior and exterior then make a new one. I think all the colour changes are so people don’t catch on.

i played all the old resident evils during the pndemic (the numbered entries anyway) and i hated 3 after 1&2, totally different (and lamer imo) vibe, so i skipped the remake, but it looks cool so i might give it a go, hope it holds up to the 2 remake

It's the kind of game that after you finish, end, go back to the shelf. Capcom didn’t have to cut anything, it had to have improved everything, just like they did in Resident Evil remake 1 & 2. We missed the opportunity to explore more Raccoon City 😔. But the game is very good, not bad. But it could have been epic 🤫. The remake of the second game, RE2, sold much more than the third... 🤔
What about to consider I already could have done that? It took me exactly as long to beat re3 as re2. And please don't say re2 has double the content due to its two campaigns which is not the case. Re2 consists of one story and one story only. The other campaign is just an alternate scenario with a different character and not the second half of one overall game. If you have beaten one campaign you have beaten the game.
When will people stop mistaking reused assets in the RE engine for references to old games. It is not a throwback to Ethan's car from RE7. It's one of literally hundreds of objects in this game that are identical. At least this one had some minor changes.
By any objective standard things like redundand and repetitive gameplay and contradictions in story telling as results of a completely failed campaign structure are more substantial problems than things like too much action, cut content etc. Period.

Giving Leon and Claire different and really complementing campaigns would not just have been a better way but would have been the ONLY way to handle the campaigns. Those fools ruined the whole game.
