Because corporations are just empires for the workplace with Vince being a former dictator, and their amount of power was made all the worse with WWE having a monopoly for 20+ years (and in many ways in terms of revenue/market share they still do). It should be no surprise the cult-like mentality both within WWE, and even with many fans. To a degree, this is a problem with AEW, TNA, etc. too. Lance brought up in that interview a wrestlers court with Howard Finkel, the fact thats even a sentence should be a problem with the love that man had for wwe-wwf. Just made me think of all the bullying Vince did to that man, on air and hear later behind the scenes, who noone anywhere, fans, wrestlers, anyone has a bad word to say. I remember when they had the edge-orton match in 2020, I went to watch it at the time and they opened it with a msg hanging mic and Howards announcement to emphasis the greatest ring announcer for the greatest match as they called it. I smiled for few seconds and then this wave of hate came on me, thinking, f**k you people, you honor him now, and all you did to humiliate him on air, including the cm punk msg match when he came out as announcer opposite Ricardo for del rio, he was genuinely in the moment moved, msg cheering him on, and what did Vince do. Instructs Cole and Lawler to laugh and make fun of him, and not just oh there being heels, you could tell, this is Vince saying look at that idiot with emotions, bury him. Never been big fan of Booker T's announcing, but he got respect from me being only one who didnt and defended Howard in moment. Didint even watch that match, to this day, causse so angered at Vince and his treatment of those loyal to him for decades, so noone should doubt he would do worse to anyone else.

Let's be honest, fans don't care. The general public doesn't care for several reasons. One it's professional wrestling, it's a very small niche and fans are very passionate about it. If they're entertained, I've heard rumors about things like this for a very long time at least 20 plus years and guess what? This dude has gotten away with it for the majority of his time as an owner and guess what the business that he owned flourished and set the standard for any other company that has come since the WWE has become so powerful. So I say this to do fans truly care in my opinion no. And what is this going to accomplish? Literally nothing what the company is doing is trying to push it to the side, especially since it's wrestlemania season and fans are going to eat it up. That's the unfortunate sad thing about it. Nothing is really going to change because the matter of the fact what they're saying is that it still needs to be clean and Vince McMahon needs to be completely utterly done with this company or any other wrestling company

    • @Linklex7

I would disagree. Casual fans care. They just don’t know about it cause casual fans don’t pay attention to the dirt sheets and that’s where all of this news happens. Now that this Vince shit is being reported by the mainstream news outlets, the casuals are disgusted.
It’s the hardcore IWC fans who don’t care. They’re the psychos who, if Vince would to appear on the next WWE show, they would do that stupid bowing motion.

8:30 Trish Stratus was over like Rover, mainly got the job because she was a fitness model, became a valet and got completely over
Vince McMahon clearly sexualized her and was very sexually attracted to her, so he runs an angle where he's having an affair with her, that he is 100% in charge of, and then has a segment where he makes her get on the ground and bark like a dog for him...
Now that was always excused Away by him playing the villain character, but in the Bob Costas interview, he gets violently defensive of his actions of doing that angle. A physical intimidation tactic
So the second that I saw the allegations I knew that they were probably true because that was a complete disgrace. He obviously was doing things like that because why else even do an angle like that
