I got to say I’m more of a stag or bone handle guy but you got my attention. Man you made that wood pop!!! Great looking handle, thanks for sharing your talent.
That Bolo is awesome! Hambone does great work! I have handled a few blades and I know the work it takes. I dont have the room or time to forge my own stuff . I love leatherwork too. That Bolo is badass
Wow....I wTched every minute. You did good getting all that on the video. Awesome, I now wait for part 2....very exciting. Awesome knife to have. All the history and now like new.
Super awesome my first car was a 72 chevelle sa and dummy me sold it about 15 years ago and recently had a 66 chevelle 454 660hp and before my liver and kidney failed i thought i was going to move out West so i sold it as well after totally redoing it from ground up. Then got sick and ended up not being able to travel so i sold it for nothing lol. Really enjoyed this video for aure.
That was Awesome Kevin! I can't wait to see part 2! 😊 When you upgrade your shop and machines. You make sure to let me know. I'm in the market for some tools and machinery to get myself started on restoration of old knives. I'm serious too! ❤😊✌🏻👍🏻
Man, that was awesome! I can’t wait to see part two. I can see handmade knives and your future and I know cheesy moon workshop sent you some cool handle material.
Hi, good work. I really enjoy your videos so keep it up. The last thing I want to do is tell someone who obviously can do a better job than me whats, what, but he should really wear a respirator mask when ever he uses that 2x72 grinder be it grinding wood, plastic, bone or metal. Some wood is poisonous but ceramic and ali oxide grinding belts can lead to silicosis of the respiratory airways. I've read about knife makers having a lung removed. Just a thought.
Was inspired by you to check out a pawn shop. The only used knife they had was a Victorinox climber for ten dollars. It was in great shape so it went home with me. I carry a super tinker everyday 👍🏻
Brother it was truly a joy hanging out with you for this. Thanks for trusting me to do this for you. We'll have to do it again soon.
I got to say I’m more of a stag or bone handle guy but you got my attention. Man you made that wood pop!!! Great looking handle, thanks for sharing your talent.

Me too!! I learned lot!
Beautiful work so far! I wish I had a guy like Mr. Gordon in the neighborhood to learn from.
the edge on the back is for hacking into gnarly stuff that might mess with the edge like roots...so it saves the other good edge for nicer chopping
Thanks for sharing this!!
Very interesting video. I've wondered about making handles. I've had awesome luck with new England twist drill bits.
