Just found out today via the comment section that Gary wrote this when he was a 15 year old lad. Im not a massive fan of Gary Barlow or Take That but that to me mind blowing and demands respect
I am in NO WAY a Take That fan but this is the song that my partner Susan called our song when it first came out It is the only Take That song I will listen too. I am a Status Quo fan.
Say a million things about Gary, that man is a damn good songwriter with such a pure voice!! A true artist and musician. The way he approaches songs and delivers them is simple yet so distinct. He was always our generation's Elton John. His voice is Rule the World and back for good? Whew!!! 💯 I would study him and sing them all the time.
Hi Gary l grew up listening to all your songs and music your songs have touch .y heart the way you express each song you put your heart and soul into every song that you play and as well.l grew up with abba as well they are my idols as well as you ♥️ ❤️ 💕 💛 💓 💖 ♥️ 😮😮😮😮😮
Except Gary Barlow is from Frodsham not Manchester. He is also a Liverpool fan as well (Frodsham is closer to Liverpool than it is to Manchester). Also Robbie Williams as we all know is originally from Stoke on Trent!
Oh yeah Ooh, ooh Oh yeah Put your head against my life What do you hear A million words just trying to make The love song of the year Close your eyes but don't forget What you have heard A man who's trying to say three words The words that make me scared A million love songs later And here I am trying to tell you that I care A million love songs later And here I am Here I am A million love songs later Here I am Looking to the future now This is what I see A million chances pass me by A million chances to hold you Take me back, take me back To where I used to be To hide away from all my truth Through the light I see A million love songs later And here I am trying to tell you that I care A million love songs later Here I am Just for you girl A million love songs later Here I am I feel for you, babe Feel for you baby A million love songs later Here I, here I am
Me in the army back in 90's doing my round as a deliveryman and stopping by the canteen. There was this beautiful blonde girl that I had crush on working alone, listening a cd. I asked her if I could see the cd cover and saw this song on it. So I asked her to put it on and there we sat and listened the song in silence. Never saw her after the army, but this will be always our song.
A lexicon of English can only define words , but it cannot define a juxtaposition of lyrics, harmony , emotions, and visual content that unless witnessed sequesters the here and now real brilliance and perfection of this U tube delivery.
A perfect way to show love is when is sung in a beautiful romantic love song ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ A million words trying to make the perfect love song of my life ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Here I am trying to tell how much love I feel and how much I take care of love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ A million chances to show how powerful my love is and how much love I feel ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love is the answer for everything and for love I will win 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
I always thought this was one of their string of #1's but i'm surprised to find out it only reached #7. I was growing up in the 1990's and i just remember Take That being on the radio all the time and releasing a string of hits. They were just really big for a while back then, a bit like the Beatles in the 60's but not as big as the Beatles were.
I was good friends with Gary Barlow, I remember him coming round while I was playing with lego, that was his inspiration for this beautiful song, a million love songs lego. Love ya Gary, call in soon bud.
George Michael writing careless whisper at 15 or Gary Barlow writing A million love songs at 15? I’m not sure which is more genius but one things for certain, they’re both genius ❤
This is the first time I've heard this song. This is surprising, but for some reason I also wanted to cry, although I am from Russia and do not understand the text very well) But this song has something touching and pure, very beautiful music and vocals. And the amazing sound of the saxophone, I love the sax. In my opinion, the sax is the most beautiful and romantic instrument of all existing ones😃
It's such a shame that I discovered this song just today, 4 th September 2021. If you think this is the most romantic song ever written and sang, I believe you!!!!!!! Oh my, it's been on replay for an hour now and it sounds new each time. God bless you, Gary Barlow.
This is a terrific song. I reckon it would be a good song to have in either a Leavers Service or a wedding. Take that were a big part of when I was growing up-Patience, Shine, greatest day and Rule the world in particular.
I remember when this come out, some 25 odd years ago, senior school. It's as good now as it was then, still connects on every level ! Hats off Mr Barlow, hats off
How on earth can a literal child write a song like this? According to Robbie, this guy was 13 or 14 when he wrote it. Not that I'm jealous of his talent or anything...
This is one of the best songs ever! Loved Take That and still listen to songs now - especially Mr Barlow - THAT VOICE! The Leona Lewis X Factor version is amazing
I used to belt out this song illegibly sitting by my bedroom's window as a pre-teen without even understanding the lyrics 😂,staring into the night sky 😍😍😍😍😍😍 ah! ah! What a time it was 😔
I discovered this gem 1999 by which time I was head over heels in love with the first girl I ever managed to gather courage to her so. And whenever I was not with her I was on stage singing my heart out to her this song. In my imagination.
One of the best songs ever
I was always more of an East 17 fan but this song was the shit then and is pretty much timeless now.
Just found out today via the comment section that Gary wrote this when he was a 15 year old lad. Im not a massive fan of Gary Barlow or Take That but that to me mind blowing and demands respect

I agree with you my friend its one in a million
Gary’s voice in this is so beautiful. Beautiful lyrics too. 😍
Say a million things about Gary, that man is a damn good songwriter with such a pure voice!!

They arent all from Manchester.

snake davis is a genius
Oh yeah
Ooh, ooh
Oh yeah
Put your head against my life
What do you hear
A million words just trying to make
The love song of the year
Close your eyes but don't forget
What you have heard
A man who's trying to say three words
The words that make me scared
A million love songs later
And here I am trying to tell you that I care
A million love songs later
And here I am
Here I am
A million love songs later
Here I am
Looking to the future now
This is what I see
A million chances pass me by
A million chances to hold you
Take me back, take me back
To where I used to be
To hide away from all my truth
Through the light I see
A million love songs later
And here I am trying to tell you that I care
A million love songs later
Here I am
Just for you girl
A million love songs later
Here I am
I feel for you, babe
Feel for you baby
A million love songs later
Here I, here I am
Amazing and heartfelt lyrics.
I always thought it was a million love songs a mega! Thanks for this 😂

In the world of love songs and power ballads it should be called the sex-aphone 😄
All the way

My favourite band even to this date loved them since I was around 12 and still love them now at 35 😂
So true
Shame only 2 of them could sing 😂
Nah I was 12 and I'm a few years older. So you were probably a bit younger.
