If you soak the leather in water before you begin in will shrink very tight on the bow as it dries.

Hobby Lobby has bags of scrap that are pretty cheap!

enochandjen Jeong bike shops used to sell it in long lengths so it could be fastened to zips on your jacket . its easier to zip your jacket up with gloves on etc .
