judging by this song, the new album is going to be a perfect, intertwined end product of all 5 previous albums. the raw, robotic grooves from their Self-Titled the melodic, yet abstract orchestration from Rated R the sheer heaviness and huge sounds from Songs For The Deaf the perfectly structured and timelessly catchy riffs from Lullabies To Paralyze and of course the dark and twisted, disturbing beauty from Era Vulgaris . Around December, there is the season of Yule. As we pagans called the Winter Solstice. Long before Christmas came in, at this time of year in December, this season is the time of family and giving, but also this was also known as The Rebirth of the Sun. All the more reason to celebrate, especially if you're from the blistering cold north. The sun is precious indeed. Have a blessed Solstice everyone. ☀️
not only am i QOTSA's greatest fan. but I'm also the proudest .their music has flawlessly stood the test of time .not only did their unique, huge sound last, but it somehow progressively topped itself and discovered new musical depths unparalleled by any other band in the history of music over time. Queens Of The Stone Age remains the only band that gives me goosebumps everyday, no matter how many times I've heard a song. long live queens of the fucking stone age. - cheers, love from Canada .
Can't we all just overlook the religious implications of this song in time to appreciate it? Really. This is a good song played by a quality band, and shouldn't have its comments section spammed up with arguements about religion.
@@mal2ksc i agree there's nothing wrong with worshipping the sun. the other deities that r worshipped don't clearly exist because history & fairy tales get so intertwined & facts get erased because of corrupt ppl dealing with sensitive information that they don't want getting out or information/"facts" being added that you never really know what deities could have been real & exaggerated to create a sense of lordship, because if you don't in some form establish that there's something/some1 you have to look to for means/security (emotional or physical/financial or spiritual) that the order of control gets fucked up & ppl start to think "hey fuck the government/fuck god/fuck authority" type shit, it only gets promoted when it's beneficial though, create chaos to establish order. the government tries to distance themselves from a god but tries to sit in the position of a god. they're A LOT better at doing that then religions though because of $& resources & convincing ppl that we NEED them in order to live. Great song. I am a Christian. This is my sons account. I love rock music. I worship only the a God of Abraham. Doesn't mean I cannot enjoy good music. I don't even listen to the words. The music is amazing! I'm quite new to Queens of the stone age but am really enjoying their material . Watched their set at the Reading Festival. Brilliant.

Imagine Dragons, not a bad band. There will always be conflicting tastes, but who are you to say one is better than the other? And labels are useless at the best of times. I wouldn't call this band rock, for a start. In fact, in this late night comment i can't think of what i would call them, but if you're going to start labeling every music you find, and then compare it to other things labeled as such, when are you going to have time to stop and hear the music? :P

It takes a whole lot more faith to believe 'nothing turned into something' on it's own since even thermal dynamics states energy simply can't come from nothing. I wish people realized the enormous deception being played upon them by some very evil, sick elitists who have controlled everything for centuries. Pull on a string and the whole veil comes to pieces. For example, science as we call it today (really a cult more than anything) can't explain open clam fossils found on the top of Mt. Everest or human artifacts found in coal. It's labeled 'anomalies' since it destroys their precious evolution theory. (Which even discoveries in microbiology state evolution is impossible.)
