Letterman has the best sound crew in television...Period. Everyone always sounds so good on the show, the mix is always perfect. That's why I'm so glad they started the "Live on Letterman" series. Perfect showcase for real music by real musicians.
There is literally no rock band on this level at the moment. They are one of the last true, working rock bands around and they fucking killed it. Goddamn.
Been a fan since 2005.. Right after Lullabies came out. I can say like Led Zeppelin - I love every single QOTSA album. Each is perfect in its own right. I drove seven hours to go see them and listened to every QOTSA CD along with Eagles of Death Metal on the way. Every one of them has a very special place in my heart. They are no doubt the inheritors of Zeppelin and The Beatles. And something else entirely.
Quite the contrary as everyone says, the reason that i love this album is that actually sounds a lot like old QOTSA to me. But not repeating themselves.
QOTSA is such a solid band, i've been listening to them since 2003 and I still enjoy it as much as i did back then! They put so much feeling into their songs and the groove is fantastic!, thank you qotsa! peace!
Troy kind of endearingly seems to be extra aware of Dean in verse 2 and you can see him look to make sure he isn’t blocking Dean while he’s playing the main verse riff
Great live performance...I'm seriously in love with this album. I have been a QOTSA fan since...well...Kyuss. LOL. Seriously though, I am very impressed with the new record...bravo guys.
I'm almost 20 years late to the party where this band is concerned. The Music press I was into (NME every week without fail) was dying on its arse and internet was for kids and nonces at that time, or so I thought. Sure I had heard their mega hit and liked it, but I was missguided into thinking they were an indulgent supergroup, what with Dave Grohl on drums. My mistake, god is this band amazing or what? Missed their gig in my hometown last year but I am making up for lost time and lost opportunities. Starting from their first LP (vinyl of course) and now up to this one I can honestly say there is not a bad song of theirs out there. An awesome level of quality songwriting, riffs and let's face it they look cool AF, which is of equal import if your are gonna do Rock-'n'-roll properly. QOTSA till I die.
An amazing band - all of them. BUT, how can one man have so much music in him. The voice, the unique songs, the more unique guitar licks.......... how does he do this?
That bass though.
Those maracas though!!!
Hell yeah ! On 🔥
BANGIN X 💯
THEY br Rockin 🤘
Bassist definitely needs more love on this one!
Just... Troy. Rocking playing maracas, then guitar dancing around back and forth. Going quietly to keys at the break
QOTSA always the best fucking riffs.
Dylan Keopraseuth You might also be interested in a band called Kyuss. Josh Homme's first band has some incredible riffs as well
hockyjocky4 Katzenjammer?
,extremely talented,in my 62 years, one of the better bands I have seen and heard

I'm 66 years old and this is my favorite band from all those years listening to rock. Rock on old dudes!!!
Finally, an older music fan who recognizes contemporary rock talent. Thank you for being awesome
I stumbled across this band a few years ago and am pleased to say that at now 62 years old myself, I consider them to be one of my favourite bands!
ALL OF YOU ELDER STATESMEN...I SALUTE YOU 🫡 YOU ALL FUCKING ROCK AND HAVE IMPECCABLE TASTE.
Letterman has the best sound crew in television...Period. Everyone always sounds so good on the show, the mix is always perfect. That's why I'm so glad they started the "Live on Letterman" series. Perfect showcase for real music by real musicians.
I'm sure Paul S. had something to do with it
The man is a NIN fan and also loves this kinda music, he's also a huge Norm Macdonald fan, he's the full package.
There is literally no rock band on this level at the moment. They are one of the last true, working rock bands around and they fucking killed it. Goddamn.
True, all of them surpassed them
Feels almost like they sit in a genre of their own too
Hell yeah. No one like them.
Mike Shoes on bass ladies and gentlemen. Best thing that Josh did was hire this guy.

jon theodore takes this band over the top. really good drumming.
I miss castillo
Growl recorded the drums on the album version
Grohl*
+Kyle Booth That was only on SONGS FOR THE DEAF, to the best of my knowledge. They've had 3 Amazing drummers! (Grohl, Castillo, teh Current Guy)
+Brandon Brooks Nope, Dave Grohl drummed on 5 out of 10 tracks on Like Clockwork
These guys have become my favorite band....Can't believe I didn't discover them earlier.
How they even managed to write and record this song is amazing. How they managed to play it perfectly live is a miracle!
Feck that breakdown in the middle alone is pure genius
Listen to the amazement in Lettermans' voice as he tells everyone how great this band is. Gotta love it.
No band sounds more complete from album to stage like the Queens. They're an amazingly talented groups of guys.
What an incredible performance.
Josh's face when he hits that bad guitar note. i love these guys.. they're fuckin' musical ninja's.
Nailed it, but they always do. They are always perfect live, it's amazing.
The best underrated rock band on the planet... All of their albums are so amazing

Henry Helvey and the experience and sabbath
That was one hell of a live performance. Mind = blown.
that fucking bass line, too brutal!
It's amazing how they don't even really use autotune at all. It sounds so similar to the original it's shocking! 10/10
I’m here for Troy’s antics. It’s everything.
Im doing this song this year, and that bass line is actually fucking brutal 😭 its so haaaard
Quite the contrary as everyone says, the reason that i love this album is that actually sounds a lot like old QOTSA to me. But not repeating themselves.

How could anyone not be, right?
QOTSA is such a solid band, i've been listening to them since 2003 and I still enjoy it as much as i did back then! They put so much feeling into their songs and the groove is fantastic!,

KRACKER AWESOME LIVE PERFORMANCE.
Sensational, rock band.Brilliant, and awesome, performers, live or, in the studio.I wish, i could play, and sing, like these guys.Allan Golan.
The mix on this was just about perfect save for Josh’s solo being a little too quiet!
