I had a series 3 swb petrol for a few years, as a weekend " play" car, and absolutely loved it. Even in bad weather where as much water finished up inside the vehicle as there was outside. I had to sell it when a new job meant a longer daily commute and I needed a more economical car, but I do still miss that old landy..........

I drive my 1963 Land Rover Series IIA 2.25 diesel all year round, and have been driving all my old Land Rover's all year round since I bought my first Series Land Rover in 1989.

Love it! I have a 93 110 in Maine got it in May a bit concerned about driving it in the winter salt given that it has some rust and hasn’t been treated yet(waiting to replace the bulk head in the spring)In the meantime I’m not driving it for fear of further rust damage…should I just enjoy driving it with regular washing during the winter or just not use it?
