Been in a superman mood latley and started playing this game for the first time its really good so far, had to get used to the controls my only nit pick is that theres no alternate costumes lol, great review!
Ive never even heard of this game but this review makes me want to at least check it out
Yeah dude if you can I'd totally check it out. The game is a little rough around the edges but in terms of Superman games it's probably the best one.
Great great review mate, worthy of a subscription. I am currently playing through this game and I am having a really fun time, A game from my childhood so to speak =) A guilty pleasure, this game and Batman vengeance =)
What are you playing it on? Do you use an emulator on PC? This is a fantastic game from my childhood (I was roughly 6 years of age). Wouldn't mind playing it again.

Wow! This game looks beautiful for what it is. Looking at the thumbnail it looked like you were gonna review one of the animated movies.
Since you're reviewing DC Comics games, would you ever get to the Teen Titans game, Batman Begins, Watchmen, Rocksteady's Batman Arkham games or the injustice games?
Don't own Teen Titans, Batman Begins is a sure bet, Arkham might take me a little while since I've got quite a few Batman games to get through, and who knows about Injustice.
@@P1SM for a linear movie tie in, I thought Batman Begins was fun for what it was.
Also not just Knight but the whole Arkham series.
Side question: Would you be interested in a arkham sequel series but with batgirl or with superman or any of the other justice league members (since Metropolis and Flash's city are mentioned in City).

The super hero genre was really pooping off during the early 2000s to the point there were many hidden gems. Thank you for the review as I'm a Marvel video game kid looking at some of the games I may have missed growing up!

I found out about this game from a ps2 game called Stuntman. Stuntman includes a trailer for this game in the menu.
If you play Superman Returns, do it on the Xbox 360. The PS2 version was a lot less enjoyable.
I don't own the 360 unfortunately. So it'll have to be PS2.
After playing superman returns do you think it's better,worse or about as good as this game
This game is far better than Returns. By about a few miles. This game has it's issues for sure, and while the locomotion in Returns is a lot of fun, I'd rather play a game that at least has some semblance of a plot and functional combat.
@@P1SM This is the best 3D superman game all around and it could have been great if development was better it seems that the game was rushed the concept art in the main menu makes it seem that the idea might have been for the game to be open world but they had a issue that forced them to just shorten the game and to ditch a open world map
@@P1SM Another animated series game done right would be awesome bc the animated series was a great series but it unlikely that animated series will return as a game since that show was over in 2000 but there is a rumoured superman game from a developer.
@@P1SMA game Amazon the boys game would be awesome set in comics universe or the show, playing as Homelander would be awesome.

Yes. It's part of the line up for next month.
game sucks, but at least controling supes dosn't make you hate life
Does it have open world free roam?
No this game is a linear experience. The closest thing to open world this game gets is the tutorial.
@P1SM Shiiiit I just bought it for 8 bucks. Is it worth that much? (I'm a big fan of the animated series too)
@@awesome1ru yeah. The game is a little clunky but it’s actually solid. I consider it to be the best Superman game we’ve gotten so far.
@P1SM I have Superman Returns on the 360 so I guess I'll see if that's true or not when the game comes (most people say Returns is the best Superman game ever)
@@awesome1ru I’ve only played the PS2 version of SM:R (also done that review) and for me I think this game does a better job of being a complete package Superman game in comparison to Returns where it’s just kind of a free for all.
