13:42 "Seems like she was looking for a new experience, but found that grass wasn't greener?" Sadly, most people do not have the personal communication / behavioral skills nor the biblical foundation to handle marriage stresses. Unfortunately, many christian marriages are failing today.

Great advice. Unfortunately there are a lot of pastors and biblical counselors that offer ungodly advice.

I've been praying for my wife who divorced me and left me for a guy she went to high school with, along with our 2 children. She was raised in church. There was no abuse or infidelity on my part which I assumed would be the only reason for the separation and divorce. I dont want her back but I do want her to repent from the adulteress relationship. I have some bitterness still. But I have given her peace and space she needs to hopefully wake up someday. Pray for her or us!🙏🏼

Please be generous concerning hating, and crossing off a former spouse. As the Stoics and Eastern meditation's show us, the hate we show turns on us...not a good way to remember a former lover. Thanks.Subscribed.

I think she is still in her old ways, because she is talking about that her girlfriends was telling her quote how can you take this and quote when she is the one who went out of her marriage and decided to commit adultery! What kind of friends does she have that speak like that and it's no coincidence that she herself has that same attitude. Many times our friends are reflection of us. She needs to tone down her attitude because she is the one who committed adultery and she is freaking lucky that he decided to take her back.

Don't judge someone when you don't know them. You are hearing a small part of their story. I know Cheryl and it saddens me for people to judge others.

There is no second and third etc marriage
The only one that God recognizes is the first one. As long as both parties are alive they are ONE ‘divorced ‘ or not.
What God has joined no man can separate
Only death ends a marriage not a piece of paper from a man made institution like a court / a judge.
    Jesus talks about it plainly
Even a 5 yr old can understand
‘Anyone who divorces his wife and married another one commits adultery’
‘Anyone who marries a divorcee commits adultery’
I marriage the sin of adultery does not ends a marriage
The woman caught in adultery was told by Jesus to ‘leave’ her life of sin.
Jewish custom required a woman to be a virgin. If she was engaged to be married and or was found not to be a virgin afterwards the marriage was over
Case in point Joseph and Mary Jesus’ parents
The gentiles didn’t have that law therefore it didn’t apply to them .. only the Jews
So that exception in Matthew 19 ONLY applies to Jews
The book of Matthew was written to primary Jewish audience. It starts off with the genealogy of Jesus
For Jews proving that Jesus is the messiah with roots back to David is the most important thing.
Mark Luke written for gentile audience do not have that..
Read your Bible look for David Pawson teaching on this
    Most churches allow re marriage
God 7th commandment says Do not commit adultery
Adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of God
    Boom
    Mind blow

God clearly permits remarriage after the death of a spouse and actually encourages remarriage for younger widows (Romans 7:1-3, 1 Corinthians 7:8-9,27-28,39-40; 5:11-16). The only qualification for the remarriage of a widow is that the new spouse must be a Christian (1 Corinthians 7:39, 2 Corinthians 6:14).

People make poor choices. But it didn’t mean her husband wasn’t good enough. She sinned because she wanted to fill the emptiness inside of her. She should not have done it, but men do this too. They leave their wives for worldly women who they feel are more exotic and exciting in bed than their wives. The action in itself is sinful. But God can save anyone. Nothing is impossible. Hallelujah!

Being asleep at the wheel does not mean she find some other guy to eff. She was by all means a high income earner and successful responsible for her own actions.this is really a bad example for men to follow.
