I've been praying for my wife who divorced me and left me for a guy she went to high school with, along with our 2 children. She was raised in church. There was no abuse or infidelity on my part which I assumed would be the only reason for the separation and divorce. I dont want her back but I do want her to repent from the adulteress relationship. I have some bitterness still. But I have given her peace and space she needs to hopefully wake up someday. Pray for her or us!🙏🏼

God clearly permits remarriage after the death of a spouse and actually encourages remarriage for younger widows (Romans 7:1-3, 1 Corinthians 7:8-9,27-28,39-40; 5:11-16). The only qualification for the remarriage of a widow is that the new spouse must be a Christian (1 Corinthians 7:39, 2 Corinthians 6:14).

I think she is still in her old ways, because she is talking about that her girlfriends was telling her quote how can you take this and quote when she is the one who went out of her marriage and decided to commit adultery! What kind of friends does she have that speak like that and it's no coincidence that she herself has that same attitude. Many times our friends are reflection of us. She needs to tone down her attitude because she is the one who committed adultery and she is freaking lucky that he decided to take her back.

For what I have heard from her in other videos she was expecting life-long romanticism that is very unrealistic because marriage goes through different stages. Romanticism in a relationship at the beginning is very important because that's how the strong attraction of infatuation with each other begins But as time goes on it grows into something much deeper. If I recall she mentioned that she watched a lot of soap operas which are fantasy love life and not reality. More likely than not that's where she got her distorted information as to what a real relationship looks like. Unfortunately he had to suffer her ignorance she was bringing into the marriage. However if they are both happy good for them. I'm very happy for the children more than for her. She is very lucky that he took her back.

This story is a true miracle. But, how many marriages today are also being destroyed by the same hardhearted, selfishness and unrealistic expectations described here. Most people in these situations lack adequate behavioral and communication skills to successfully navigate marital problems on their own [50% divorce rate].

Do any of these folks ever use a little common sense to realize the destruction they will cause in their families when they selfishly pull this crap? She seems so flighty: "I so deserve to be happy"; "You don't make me happy" ; a divorce will solve my personal emptiness [Not!!]; "i almost married him [that would have been a tragedy!!"]. Selfishness and greed and hedonism are the driving forces for many modern day lifestyles. Most people who get married today, do not have the requisite communication and behavior skills, nor the biblical foundation to make a successful marriage. It is sad that many marriages never had a chance! 1st marriage divorce rate = 50%; 2nd marriages = 65 % divorce rate, 3rd = 74%??
