I love Domestika. I have 9 courses I have taken so far and I have SOOOOO many others saved in my wish list. If anyone is wondering, the teachers are professionals in their respective fields, the classes are very in depth, and you get fun different exercises to do as well as your final project. They're really fun and I have learned so much!

I really like domestika courses. The teachers are professional artists, they teach really well and go in depth and shares a lot about their process. I recommend Julia Bereciartu's course about Editorial Illustration in Gouache. You might like it too, Hamrib!

Thank you for the recommendation! The teachers are so great, my favorite is when they talk about experiences they had in the field and what it's like

I used to think doing portraits would be so difficult but watching you do portraits so easily, like to me it looks so smooth, i started doing it and it is not that difficult anymore, tho I'm still learning ❤❤❤

With your varied disciplines and personal experiences in many medium's, you'll meet with great success no matter what you do. A painter must have daily habits of working to wring their energies from the events life gives us, no matter how sparingly. Acrylics are very forgiving given the number of modifier's available. Gel for impasto and watercolour effects. Modeling Paste for heavy-body builds. Gloss & Matte Mediums to alter the level of saturation each colour exhibits. If you throw in the retarder, they almost blend like oils. Acrylics have a learning curve like any medium, you just have to get accustomed to its working properties first. Its a very beautifully rendered painting young lady. Please don't give yourself such a high scaffold to reach all at one time. Keep things that work, and dispense with all the things that don't pan out. Its your adventure. Your explorations will give you what your seeking in time.

  • @flaminkratos8038

I’m assuming that liquid you’re using when you squeeze out your paint is probably to keep the paint moist so it doesn’t dry and you waste paint until applied. Or I could be wrong.
