Im looking to buy one on ebay. So i came here first since ive never installed one. Thanks for this video. Gave me that little push i needed. Gonna go for it.
So i finally got mine. I purchased the Audiovox UC-10 under dash unit brand new. Or i should say new old stock. But i did not know that most of these units are for 2 speaker vehicles only. Wish i knew that was even a thing before i purchased it because now im stuck with it lol. My car is equipped with 4 factory speakers.
so the cassette shares the same speaker with the AM Radio? i didn't think that would be possible hooking two amplifiers to one speaker. since the cassette is stereo i guess you are only getting one channel from it. i know your probably trying to keep the car original but i wonder if they have a factory AM/FM Cassette radio for this car
You wire it to a switched 12v power wire and 2 separate channels for the speakers. You can't hook it up to the same speakers as your radio because if you do the fuse will blow or speakers will have static interference
