- Hi pals!
Here are the 14 books that I read in the month of JUNE, which happens to be pride month here in the UK (although it's pride month every month on this channel).
Some questions that arose during the course of this video
What was the best thing you read this month?
When do you watch TH-cam?
What are you eating?
Do you want a mid-year monster video, or separate mid-year check-in and best books of the year so far videos?

Private Rites was my most anticipated release as well! Salt Slow is still my favorite book of hers, but I adored PR as well. Such a beautiful writing style. And what you said about her way of doing dystopia: totally agree!
@@paulafischer8026 I've heard wonderful things about Salt Slow but I am tragically unable to read short story collections, they just don't do anything for me 😥
Hello Hannah. The only problem with watching other TH-camrs channels is that it only increases the tbr. So many books and so little time! Happy reading to you.
@@ReadingIDEAS.-uz9xk oh tell me about it, I have to be judicious about when I watch booktube otherwise my reading plans go out the window 😂 happy reading to you too!
What a fantastic month, I love the variety of what you read! Looks like we have similar tastes, which is always nice to find. I’ll have to check out “Grief is the Thing with Feathers” and “Bi”-thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
@@ThoughtCouture oh, thank you! It's funny because I always feel like I could be reading more widely than I do 😂 what was the best thing you read last month?
I loved the Ripley books and adore the new adaptation! Personally I wouldn't say the later books are very good crime novels, and more of a very intriguing further exploration of Ripley's life, temperament and mindset. Especially the Berlin part in the fourth book was quite a delight for me.
'Blind Man' - with its duality of physical and political blindness and the autobiographical connections to the author - sounds very interesting. I too might have to brush up a bit on Slovenian history/politics though 😅
I also might check out 'Bi'.
@@xXbubbelXx oh that's really good to know! We've watched the first couple of episodes now and I'm enjoying it so far!
