Niceee bro , I just overclocked my first device yesterday , I have a OnePlus 5 rooted on Android 9 with custom ElementalX kernel that allows overclocking up to 2.3ghz and it is stable and even after running it overclocked to Max for days at a time , it didn't even overheat or kill battery hardly any more than average , the ElementalX Kernel manager that goes with the kernel is very well tuned to optimize the devices memory and cpu for performance
So if you didn't understand the video he didn't overclock a shit he just installed a costum kernel that increase the performance but doesn't mean it's overclock

@FNFchanneltukce overclocking without a professional is terrible if you have no idea what you're doing. you essentially make your cpu work harder than it already is, causing it to heat up and thermal throttle. Don't do this. It lowers the CPUS life span.

well yeah youre right i would need a damn fan just to cool it down and my s7 edge exynos was overheating with stock speeds going down from 2.3 to 1.8 ghz or something like that without a fan and it is annoying but i overclocked the gpu to 806 mhz but the temperatures was really bad skyrocketing to 95-100 celsius so yeah not worth it unless if you have a fan then its fine with a fan the temps of the gpu stayed below at 85 so yeah thermal design of the exynos sucks a lot@@ifeelDream007.
