The Meme River! (Part 1)

The Meme River. A special new series. A great set of characters, an insane campaign, constant salt and arguments. The year is 1853. I joined this campaign in session 2 to see if the stories about the Meme River were true. Two alliances have formed along this watery divide, and they will clash - on the battlefield, in words, and in the rules.
This is part 1 of a new series. Episodes are 10 minutes. There is no set schedule, the episodes are all surprises. Merry Christmas to you all!

What is the meme river? It was a feature in God of Cheese's variant of the Vic2 alt history mod Divergences of Darkness. Some features were his own idea (officers as recruitable units: see “Nogai Horde Hugbox”) and some features, like the Meme River, had inspiration from Nurse Reno. It's not 100% clear exactly whose idea it was, but Nurse Reno and God of Cheese discussed and came up with the general idea of a buffer between the Dual Monarchy and Burgundy. But also, the Dual Monarchy is split into France and England in this campaign. GoC added a new 1836 start date, so you can choose between having the Dual Monarchy, or split France + England.
The Meme River was removed from the mod in the next version but France and England stayed apart - I livestreamed the followup campaign as Bohemia: • Victoria 2 DoD LIVE! B... (the problem with Anglois people assimilating to French soldiers persisted into this campaign, it was a massive problem)
