Anyone who doesn't think Filoni should take over doesnt know Star wars. I understand he's not a perfect director or writer and he's inexperienced compared to everyone else. But we've already seen what experienced directors have done to Star wars. Now it's time to let somebody who knows Star wars and loves it to take over.
Dave was hand picked by George Lucas for Clone Wars all those years ago. George taught him everything about the universe and lore. It really is a master and padawan relationship. Dave is now teaching a new group of storytellers how tell the best star wars stories... "we are what they grow beyond. That is the burden of all masters."

Dave Faloni is George Lucas's protege, that's why I have nothing but respect and admiration for this man! Because things still feel like it has George Lucas's hands all over it, because of this man right here!
