For Carpenter Brut's bass, he actually uses and plays around with a preset from a Synth called N.I Razor, the preset's name is "RipItUp" and It actually has a very wide frequency range by itself, although I believe it'll still need some layering for extra thiccness
I wonder how long you've been producing because that kind of handability over your DAW and plug-ins is admirable. Not to mention you don't miss the point at all, just the complete and clear methodology... for free. You are one capeless hero for sharing this much valuable information. My gratitude.
Thanks! You can check out GosT, Dance With the Dead, Mega Drive or Perturbator. They are all a little different in one way or another, but all have roots in dark synthwave.
Hollywood Burns, Dan Terminus, King Stephen, Occams Laser, We Are Magonia, Shredder 1984. Dance With the Dead and Mega Drive just don't scratch the same itch
Was just about to say, "How did this video get taken down?!" Saw the description and was relieved It would've been a crying shame since I was saving this video until I had the time to watch it.
Try to play a lil bit more the sound, chord, drums, and stuff like, went u finish the drums, u play it solo and with melo etc... it can be better i think ! c:
This literally sounds like a song called "Hunted" i had made in 2020, when i was under the name Anuman, lol. Nice try! I'd like to see you try to be more accurate conceptually about the music instead of just the concrete instruments.

I had no idea how technical this genre is, this was really cool to watch.
I really like this! Would you be able to recommend more artists who make this sort of genre?

Darksynth and Dark Synthwave are 2 separate genres, which sounds confusing because it is
Apparently there is also Dark Synth which is synth-heavy darkwave, so 3 of them
