the idea of using an essence sound synthetic, but the good reviews they get, seems to make it seem that they work very well. the more "fancy" flavour, like a cream spirit, which it lower ABV also, would be a good parallel for the "real" thing. I'm looking at a "red absinthe" one for myself, and it has a condensed, "natural" ingredients composition of absinthe. I'm pretty excited to give t a try, years ago I go a gift of a kits with cocktail flavours ... this guy has done some work on this, have any other beginners, or people who can remember their beginning days any report on how they found doing this?
Or you could do what I do and just pour the contents through a funnel directly into the bottle you are going to drink it from. Just leave a little bit of room to mix the base and shake like shit until it’s mixed. Then top it up with more alcohol.
I see where you're coming from, out of all of the still spirits range, the cream liqueurs are the only ones that don't seem to be the most cost effective alternative. Everything else in the range has a considerable difference in price between the commercial alternative. Having said that it depends what works for you. For example after my wife first tasted it, she always then preferred the 'mint cream liqueur' from still spirits over any other you can buy commercially. So in that sense it made sense as there was no better or cheaper alternative. The range is so big that regardless of your preference, you're quite spoilt for choice. Plus I've always felt that both Still Spirits and Lovebrewing never seem to rest on their laurels, they're always updating their range with new products.
Excellent work mate

What type of alcohol does it matter
What happens if you add an alcohol higher then 40%. Does it still work?
Yes it would work. Just a higher proof at the end
what did you top it up to 1.125l with alcohol or water
It would have been alcohol
Setting up the EZ filter watching the video, not going through?
Then you probably have the nut on it far too tight it’s a bit trial and error. Rich
That looks yammy
on the cream base packet it says cold water ????????
it dosnt really matter hot water makes it dissolve quicker ...
