    Hi Beat Hackers,
A lot of DJs hate on all new DJs using the sync button. The reason for this is because they think you should learn how to beatmatch properly rather than just having the technology do it for you.
BUT if I am honest, I do NOT have a problem with it and I actually use the sync button for THIS ONE TRANSITION.
Here is the question though, do I think you should use the sync button for every transition and never learn how to beat match by ear?
No, I don't, because I think it is essential that you develop this skill, so you have both options available. This will also make you far more confident behind the DJ decks!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video, let me know what you think :)
    Phil

Does anyone know how to take a track off of sync? Because after doing this I tried to mix in another song but the tempo fader would not work even when the sync button was off.

I'm not sure if its only my controller, but on my controller you hold shift and click the sync button.
      hope this helps!

I did this on my mix set. One track was 100 bpm and the second track was 125 bpm and it worked perfectly.

Am I reading that right - that 30bpm jump was over just the 8 bar outro?

But Blend sounded shite. Too much variation in pitch range. Transition didn’t sound right

Very good! Beginner here.....You make using the tempo slider look easy. Anytime I touch mine it goes nuts!! Way too sensitive. Is it because controller is so new or do I need practice lol.

And as always, finished playing around for a few dozen tracks and go to youtube for lunch and now there is more dj tutorials to mess with..
Also cant seem to find any videos on it, but does anyone know an easy way to work with two songs that are different time signatures or harshly fluctuating bpm? I have one annoying track that seems to switch to 3/4 time when it gets to the drop sections and just doing a basic drop swap feels really weird for pacing

How do I get the song I just loaded to synch with the song that is currently playing? Like literally, what is the exact order of buttons I press? what has to be pressed first and then second, etc?
    Thanks.

In my opinion, I don’t really like sync, but I think it’s fine to use when jumping up or down a lot of bpm. I do typically have to use it for that reason a lot since I have the ddj 202, the bpm fader is very small.

Used to mix hard house in to dnb before and loved it! Wicked way to transition but.. Last few times I've tried it though it seems it half the bpm even on 120 so if I was going from 120-100 it would be 60bpm and then slowing it down would end up at 40bpm spinning me right out well annoying.
