I've always been a hard worker so I can appreciate gentlemen like yourself and crew doing a spectacular job. I am from a large Irish family and I am no stranger to hard work. It's crazy how people are anymore. It's like if I have a friend and a best friend and my best friend doesn't like my friend that doesn't mean I can't talk to them or be around them for us to be friends. Not just a sticker the whole meaning of what he symbolizes. Not good for business we had to do the same at ours. Usually all the labor and hardworking people are the same people that president dislikes.

If you want the best of the best beacon lights, always go with Whelen. Used to be a volunteer Fire Police and used their products all the time. Their strobe and light bar kit lasted for 6 years before I quit volunteering and sold it off. Also, Whelen Lights are made in the USA too!
If you don't know what a Fire Police man is, its not a law enforcement officer. We are strictly traffic control when their is an accident.

I can see how it would be hard to get rid of Darryl he is a good guy and its funny we have one like that in our crew he is just a human wrecking ball everything he touches gets messed up...I mean its to the point where he isn't allowed to do half of the stuff we all normally do the only difference is we cut tree's so the jobs a little more hazardous so anything to do with running ropes/rigging to felling trees he is not allowed to even look in that direction lol. The hard part about firing someone you care about is the fact you know they will suffer for a while till they find new employment if they even can.

Ryan my man, you are so gracious when dealing with Darryl Sr. He has cost you literally thousands of dollars in broken tools, not to mention all the no call/ no shows. You have given him so many 2nd chances that I believe he will never respect you. Not that he even knows what that word means. He doesn't respect himself or anyone for that matter. I actually get a bit angry sometimes because of how poorly he treats you. He's been showing up early for a couple weeks now but I know you know, it won't last. Don't know if it's the drink or the dragon but until he commits to getting clean/sober and loving himself again, it's not going to matter how many times you turn the cheek & give him a pass...it will continue. No judgement here, been there myself. I really enjoy watching you & the majority of your crew do the concrete thing.

I agree w you 100%.im a housing contractor here, build custom homes in Arizona, employ a crew of 18. I had one employee who always asked for pay day advancents,seemed that he was always short on money could not wait until payday. The nice guy that I was always gave him money when he asked. Had given him 2 months in pay advancements that now it was like I can not let this guy go due to he owns me money . This guy had an "I don't care attitude" on my equipment and his work. It finally took my wife to say to me, that by always. Giving this employee payday advancements it is telling him he wont get fired, due to he owes me.. within 4 months and me collecting all he owed me, I let him go, best thing I did....

In my case Daryl would have kept his job if he was up front and honest and took full responsibility, trying to sugar coat it would have gotten him fired. It was dangerous and the damage could be serious.

I don't know how much a salter weighs, but common sense tells me if you need a heavy machine to lift it, probably weighs a LOT.
