If I were to fully understand and watch carefully that whole playlist and then go ahead with practicing past parts how much of it would I'd be able to do correctly?
@@Aroushayaz For further maths i think if you did that you would 100% get an A. For an A* you just gotta be efficient(know what you need to practice) and do lots of maths questions. For me i learnt all of further pure from his playlist except complex roots on unity which i also used bicen maths videos on that
@@tofjackn8376bro I’m behind on content I’m learning all of core pure from scratch (as I forget stuff) do you think i can get an A/A* by the exams by just watching tl/bicen 2x speed then banging out the mixed exercises and only new spec past papers. I don’t think i have time to do the actual textbook exercises. I think I’m on a low C and I need an academic comeback lol. I need to balance this with my other subjects
I went from a 6 in Feb to an 8 in maths after a couple weeks of revision so I decided to full send it into maths and further maths cause I really enjoyed studying it for GCSEs
Hi Sam, you are my favourite study channel at the moment, love the content. I just wanted to ask what was your feedback from LSE as to why you got rejected? I have applied to LSE Maths with Economics and Cambridge Economics.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel! I go through it in detail in my ‘reviewing my university applications’ video, but essentially they said my application wasn’t strong enough. It probably didn’t help that I didn’t do an admission test for them.
The potential issue with making summaries is how exactly do you revise from it? It can be difficult to try and effectively revise directly from a sheet of information. What I would personally recommend is making flashcards of all the economics content, as this way you can test yourself, which is much more effective.
I know this is a joke but it's not worth it cause if you do like 6 at this point all a* your like already top of the top. Also focusing on work experience and other stuff if better than sitting in the library 24/7
Most important thing is to watch tl maths on youtube trust me
Literally

Good luck!! It will take lots of hard work! It's definitely worth it if you NEVER GIVE UP! 💪
How is it?
Well done on your grades ! Good luck with everything.
Thanks for the video with great advice. Other than doing practice questions, was watching videos your main way of understanding information?
Watching videos definitely helped. It was also useful to just email my teacher with any specific questions I had
this video is so helpful, thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
For the papers on Madasmaths which ones are suitable for core pure? they have MP1 MP2 etc and FP1 and Fp2 etc
From memory, I think MP1 and MP2 are for normal maths, and then FP1 and FP2 are for further maths

Is the calculator good for normal maths?
Yes, it’s also useful for normal maths!
3:21 , what textbook do you use and where can I find / buy it?

Do you think the graphics calculator is worth it, as apperantly we dont need it,
It’s not imperative that you have it, but it is very useful - especially for checking things!
Im pretty sure you have to put graphic calculators into exam mode in exams anyways
@@Gabriel-zd8iythey still have the graphing in exam mode!
Hi Sam, Great video but this might be unrelated to the video: do you think it is smart to make summaries on economics content and revising from that?

bro assumes we get the graphical calculator...
Get the graphical calculator, trust me. There’s even a cheaper older version but if you’re doing FM, it’s best you use one
is fm doable without the calculator?
No, get a calculator. Even if you can't get a super fancy one, you can get a decent casio one for not much money
@@unst0ppable_201is the FX-991CW good enough for further maths?
Hey what do u think about doing 10 alevels at the same time ?
probably not the best idea to be honest

Best idea I’ve heard in a while, the low workload of 4Alevels simply doesn’t provide the satisfaction 🙂
