i am so glad that lee is still hard. the only remaining expert character in tekken 8 is lee. it is a shame he does not have to play with minus frames as much as t7 anymore simplifying his gameplan but the execution stufff is still there
It was just in T7 that his frames got super minus. He wasn't that bad in other games and it makes sense coz in T8 you lose health when blocking so he could just wait for an opening to CH. He needs to have a pressure game on his own but now we don't got the 50/50 with the slide😢
yeah but honestly this is why i prefer him in t7 more than the others. because he had to micro caculate every minus frame situation making him endlessly complex@@tzitzitzitzi1584
I think Lee is the only character that actually harder to play in T8. I wouldn't say that characters like Kazuya or Hwo are beginners friendly but their staple combos are easier to do compared to T7.
Lee chaolan in Tekken 6 br was so cool and the bound system works so well with him even he was difficult to play still fun hard even top tier character in tekken 6 br alt least for me that it
You can definitely land df3,2,3 instead of f2,1 for ender in that d2 stun showcase. It works on Xiao, so it should definitely work on Marduk. Fun Lee thing before f3,3,3,3,3,4 was a launcher. f3,3,3,3,4 gives better damage and a closer knockdown. This means that not spamming 3 the whole way was rewarded. Such a Lee thing.
I mean, his T6 version is not very different from his TTT2 version. One of the main differences between T6 Lee and TTT2 Lee is that TTT2 Lee can bound after WS+2,3 launch with f+4,3 super easy.
Fun fact: Lee has only been low tier once in his career and that was in tag 1 believe it or not(Though he was a stromg low tier). In most of his appearances hes been mid tier and was a feared top tier in Tekken 4. Heres hoping Lee regains his tekken 4 power and is top tier
T7 day one Lee was terrible too (probably bottom 3, maybe even bottom 1), you couldn't use 4,u3 in combos so he had terrible damages, probably the worst damages in the game by far + insconsistent. He was fixed on this point even before season 2, but was still low tier. It's season 2 patch that made him strong, and season 3/4/5 also balanced him well. He is arguably the most buffed character since release.
what make lee good in this game is the bound system it favor him more than the screw system another character to mention is heihachi you should mention lee loop during the wall using f4,3
@@since2133can’t tell I don’t remember well for Lee and Lars wall combo but Nina has great damage but maybe she’s better on tt2 than t6 and sorry but Anna sucks in tekken 6
Bro his hopkick is i15. It's i14 in Tekken 5 and Tekken 4. You get so many things wrong with these videos why don't you ask players who actually played the games when they were competitive
Lee Chaolan is definitely a character that was interesting in every version of Tekken he’s been in.
so true
One of my favourite versions of Lee, the reason why I picked him was how cool his combos looked in T6.

Lee & Electric Fountain stage pairs so good!
I dont main lee but when i do play him. I always do the f33334 move. Satisfying to watch.
Hey Nemisis! I don't know if Christmas is being celebrated in your country, but with my respect to you, Happy Holidays my guy!
b2, f4, 3 and d/f3, 2, 3 are the changes that made him a beast in this game

B+3,4 is an odd fit for Lee, but I do like how it's a small tribute to his original f,F+3 axe kick.
It's sick to see him having great combo dmg. I wonder how it'll be in tekken 8
can't wait to play him
I mained him back in T6. You missed his broken i10 ch 223 with rage. Damn i miss that move

@@mwkan772 lol i accidentally typed one 3 too many. Oops
Nice.
Hey dumb question. How are you playing all these old tekkens? If emulating can you emulate TT2?
The last kick in his wall combo goes higher than opponents head even when they stand. Mid attack not high btw
for some reason I could just never do d/f+3 after Bound
is it a timing thing?
I mean, his T6 version is not very different from his TTT2 version. One of the main differences between T6 Lee and TTT2 Lee is that TTT2 Lee can bound after WS+2,3 launch with f+4,3 super easy.
WS 2,3 to FF3 is pretty hard tbh. The combination itself is easy but I can't pull it off consecutively.
I loved his ff4 counter hit. Shame it is no longer there
current ff4 is better
@@mwkan772 his T7 Season 2 FF4 was the best, knockdown on regular hit that can pick up with b3,3 but also still has counter hit property
@@mwkan772I am unable to do a launch though. Because it seems I'm far from the opponent. How to avoid this?
What's the timing to do b2~mist step to ws 2+3?
Lee fans were eating excellently in Tekken 6.

Lee was op in tekken 6
ARROWS?
Did Lee not have running 3+4 in t6? That move was plus on block and bounds on hit.
It was given to him in Tag 2 and it was not plus at all but did bound on hit.
Most of the changes here only apply to Tekken 7. Unless you dont plan to make Tag 2 videos.
I remember spamming the living hell out of his hop kick. i14 for a hop kick is inane! Lee was a BEAST in T6 & Tag 2.
indeed
Please, if you want to make something with Leo! Ss1+2 ch give a full combo
ok
thanks for the info bro^^
I will try to cover leo as well
im trying to get good using him on tekken 7 but i still cant get the hang of it
keep on practicing
he's a bit hard to play but very satisfying if mastered
@@mwkan772 ill try practicing more
Yea you forgot ch 2,2,3 ..... That was actually a problem. Very broken.
I think Bruce and Lars they have a better wall carry
I think lee has better
Legit I will help you redo this video and make it better. Also NINA has the best wall carry in the game not Lee.
Both Lee & Lars have better wall carry than Nina.
Also no one cares for Nina when Anna is in the game bro…

It was definitely 15f. 100%. His main 14f buttons were f+2,1 and 3,3
@@mwkan772 Why don't you boot up the game with a friend, have Jack do d/f+2 and see if you can punish it with u/f+4?
from frame data I've seen it hits on frame 15-16
so yeah, it'd be i15
