God! I can remember this like it was yesterday! Patrick McGooghan was magnificent in this role, and this has always been my favorite "Wonderful World of Disney" movie, although I also loved "Gallagher" (with the late Harvey Korman), and "Kilroy". Isn't it funny how some things can burn themselves into your psyche, that you can remember them so vividly no matter how many years pass? In this instance, it says alot for the great Walt Disney and the quality programming he provided to us kids every Sunday night back in the 1960's.
everybody thinks the Mandalorian is the darkest Disney can get with a show, but they've had some dark stuff before like the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh series. THIS is something they could remake for today, by the by.
If they did, the company would be lucky enough to act as the distributor, especially if the movie was made independently of Peter Billingsley was Dr. Syn, and assorted British actors and actresses.

14:35 --- If you're going to go around calling yourself the Scarecrow, then that's definitely how you make an entrance.
Right on.
As a kid, I was intrigued, almost mesmerized by those masks, but not scared.
Good for you.
Quite a Disney masterpiece.
This is my favorite movie of all time
Interesting.
Well then you are even more pathetic than that ridiculous scarecrows "laugh" at the end of this clip.

Si.
He'll hang with the others, by the neck.
Supposedly.
