I'm just discovering this show for the first time in 2024 and I agree that it's brilliant--every episode makes me laugh out loud, and I can't say that about most sitcoms.
As an ADHD/Autism adult i LOVE Jeff's interruptions and I love the polar of Susie redirecting. It makes me feel seen and I enjoy all of this. This podcast has been so so good and I need it to go to the end. ❤
It’s weird seeing Kobe Bryant in this episode as just a background character. At this time, these were Shaq’s Lakers. It makes you realize how old this episode is. RIP Mamba. 😢
People do want DVDS 😅 The full Curb boxset is announced for relase later this year and I'll get it. Streaming can be very unreliable so owning a show you love is a very wise move. Also the Extras are always fantastic

Shaq should be in the thumbnail for instance for this one. It helps the viewer distinguish each episode's topic visually, which makes a big difference in the click-through rate 👍

If you have real friends, you let them be weird and crazy sometimes. Stop being mad about ‘By the Way.’ Smile and chuckle and ignore it.

We’ve seen this show a dozen episodes. Jeff literally says at the beginning, “I can be irritating, all I can do is apologize, I can be bipolar, I can be ADD, therefore, I’m going to be annoying.” This is him RESPONDING to the critics. And as the wonderful Susie says, his Good Friend who’s dealt with him for years: “if they don’t like your voice: Don’t tune in.”

Jeff it's not the voice we find annoying it's your constant interrupting and cutting people off mid sentence that we find annoying.
