I really enjoyed this video as it showed sufficient detail. I especially appreciated the wrench and socket info so I didn't have to hunt for the size. Was able to install mine on a 2014 Indian Chieftain. Getting the original bolts off was a little tough as well as loosening the nut on the shift rod. I couldn't get the rear nut on the shift rod so I did the front one. Took me less than 1/2 hour.
TJ, thanks for posting this video. I purchased a Baione heel shifter for my 2019 Chieftain from Amazon for $95.00. I couldn't spend over $200.00 from other outlets. Bad thing is there were no instructions with the kit or spacers, so your video came in real handy. I did get it on easily and it works just fine. There is plenty of clearance without the spacers so it may have been manufactured so spacers are not necessary. I did have to use my supply of Loctite for the reassembly, but it looks just as good as more expensive shifters.
I went another route. I went to Ebay and bought a heel shifter for $43.00, looks great. The shift lever goes above the floor board so no need to disassemble or adjust anything, also you would lose no ground clearance. Took just 5 minutes to install. The only down side is if you had a shoe size of maybe 14 or larger you might lose some clearance with your shoe. I have a size 10 so it doesn't affect me at all. On the other hand with the Kuryakin I'm thinking you might have to slid your foot back a little more to step on the rear peg to go up a gear. Just a thought.
Hello, I just added a heel shifter to my Indian Roadmaster and I haven’t taken it for a ride yet because it is freezing and raining here. However, just sitting on the bike in the garage and running through the shifting, it doesn’t seem to shift like it did before and sometimes will not go to the next gear epithet going up or down. I adjusted the linkage so that the heel shifter is not hitting the floorboard but not sure if something is wrong. Any thoughts?

I put the same heal shifter on my 19RM. Switched the peg for the shorter, polished Icon peg do to my pant leg hanging up on that rubber, longer peg.
Chances being by using spacers, therfore extending the footboard at least a quarter of a inch outwards, you lost quite of bit of leaning capability..
