Consider this. Healing salve in battle on units is nice but can easily be cancelled by your opponent. But healing from healing salve and healing ward has the same visual indicator. How about concealing healing salve healing by throwing down a healing ward? Thereby achieving maximum hidden healing gains. Using propaganda in WC3 to win.

If I could, I would bring in Naval Units. Give a Bridge structure to each faction. Alliance has the Docks that can be updated into a Shipyard. Horde can have a discount on the Goblin Shipyard, Tauren can take a tree and turn it into a Canoe, Peons can build one after research Scourge has a Shipwright that can raise shipwecks and summon Ghost Ships. Night Elves have the Ancient of the Deep that can summon Sea monsters. Also I would add in Subfactions. Zal Naga has great marine units and can build in shallows Chaos Orcs is a great way to get easy Chaos Damage High Elf has great farms, architecture and Magic Drainel has lots of ethereal and stealth units Legion has demon units Also maybe a Gem mine that is a 7 gold regardless of upkeep, but has half as much as a gold mine making them collapse fast. Okay, maybe that is closer to a wishlist of WC4 than a patch.
I love creative, solid, satisfying games. Respect for useful and effective use of healing wards, glad to see trolls witch doctors, i missed them. GG Grubby.
Imagine if people donated to buy the dog treats after it ate the wallpaper so then the dog learned that if it eats wallpaper it'll get more rewards and grubby would've never realized this
I am looking foward to the patch drop, and hopefully it mean's we'll see the priestess of the moon get more use, she's always been my favorite hero. But honestly, just flat numbers to her searing arrows arn't going to change anything.. even at +48 damage it's still probably not worth taking over a venom orb.... They should have made it to splash damage (make her more AoE focused), burn DoT (stackable with venom orb to toggle for both and spread DoTs, shoot, shoot, swap target) or the anit-heal effect from human fire orb (focus fire to counter DK/paladin heals). The buff to Starfall doing more damage is nice though, and will make her DEADLY in 2v2 matches. (Imagine 2 night elf players both with her using it at the same time to do 240 damage to your whole army within two waves! OUCH!)
patch already dangerous, because it makes grubby feel the hunger again. my guess is that the wc3 scene do not want this sleeping giant to awake again. his tactical understanding has only gotten better and if he applies himself again to actually compete... hooo boi. but lets see. maybe the giant was just stirring here... it is a marvel to witness nontheless. great video!
It always seemed weird that any dispel ability can counter a hero ability. Like if you cast a level three Hex on an enemy unit, it can be dispelled by anything (priest's mass dispel, dryad's dispel, shaman's purge, etc.) without problems. It should take two regular dispels to counter a hero ability because hero abilities are earned through gaining XP instead of spending money to train for them (or already come with some units).
I had a similar idea, but instead of a set number of Dispels, each spell would have a certain number of hit points and take dispelling damage just like it was a summon. Undead Anti-Magic Shell works this way now (as of patch 1.35.0, dated 2023-01-19 -- used to only take dispelling damage if protecting a summoned unit). So make dispelling work this way for other spells as well.
even though my first account to get hit lvl20 was "Nikoro-" and had the most games on it at 87% win rate total. and x-Nikoro was my random only acct that got to rank 6th where i was lvl26 at 165-22 but the people between me and first place (nightelf named beverage) were all banned for maphack... i couldn't match vs him. and a few people below me were also banned, leaving only like 3-4 people i could match vs and they would INTENTIONALLY NOT search whenever i was online... or wait until I was in a game. this was 1.14 and before (since 1.15 and after ladder abuse because the "way" to get games). anyway. whenever i got orc and went bm third on RoC or bm first on TFT and his name was Nikoro, I lost 99% of those games if not 100% and idk why. lol
Uhh healing wards have always been viable. Always which doctors have always been good. I like it going to 150 mana totally fair. I’d trade rejuve for healing wards any day of the week so it is ludicrous to think they weren’t useful before

4th ability seems balanced because abilities that require opponents to attack a unit don't have value until the enemy does what you want them to do
I don't see the metamorphosis tauren, what a shame...
