I agree wholeheartedly! It's insane how expensive this set is now. Like you, fortunately, I was able to purchase the second set at a very reasonable price.
Believe it or not, about an hour ago, I purchased the 1st series of these figures on ebay for a lil' over $60.00!! I couldn't believe that they were that "cheap" so I instantly purchased them. They're coming all the way from Japan, so I won't get them for at least another 3 weeks/month.
