It’s so incredible to hear that you changed jobs from a researcher to toy designer!! I don’t hear a lot of people moving from a STEM career into a creative one. Changing to a drastically different career is so nerve wracking. Your story is so inspiring!

And also realize how I love spending time with friends and wouldn’t be able to work on my art everyday after work like you do. It helps me to see the difference! That being said, I’m happy to see you finding what works for you. At the end of the day, that’s what we all need.

Sorry for seeing your comment so late, but i appreciate you sharing your perspective so much 💛 Lately I've been spending more time with my family and friends as well to get myself refreshed to get back into art 🥰 my routine changes and flows and like you said, whatever works for you is the right way to go!

@@itsdaksha I can definitely make a whole separate video on this :') I actually did make a video before documenting my journey but I felt like i was talking in circles and not being helpful so i privated it LOL but essentially I just put together thoughts of exactly what type of design I enjoyed (i.e. I enjoyed designing physical products/consumer goods as opposed to animation/film), lifestyle/nature of a job suitable for me, did some research and found toy design was the perfect fit for me!
Was so cool hearing you talk more about the specifics of your work!! Your vlogs are so comforting to watch 💕 can't wait to buy Strawbootea once she launches!! So much bootiesssss
