Twilight harbor is easy. Haunted Tower is only hard the first time you play. But once you find the platform on the other side of the castle, it’s easy. Misty Bog is a challenge every time. Those stupid frogs keep getting me.

Simone Koz I like Year of the Dragon better just because of the hatching animations, but I was disappointed when I went from the intros & outros to nothing 😩
People have been far too harsh on the legend of spyro series, it's way better than people make out. Yh the combat can become a little repetitive at times, however that doesn't mean they're not good games. Even if eternal night was a ball ache to complete! 😂😂😂
Dawn of the dragon... holy shit. One of my favourite games to this day. Beautiful... it’s just beautiful to look at like- damn. It’s not perfect... but it deserves so much more love than it gets.
Yeah nothing in Ripto's Rage is too overly difficult and if it is, then you can clearly see it is beatable. Year of the Dragon has worlds THAT ARE BIGGER, but less exciting. Agent 9's Lab really sucks!
Dude, I have felt so alone liking that trilogy. Yeah it wasn't like the original games but it was good in its own way and people seem to hate it just for not being more of the same.
Legend Of Spyro is still a good series of games, I was disappointed that they left out Spyro Eternal Night. I grew up with both the original and Legend Of Spyro both are special to me, plus it gave us Cynder who I hope gets a place in the next Spyro game if they make one.
Martyn McMurray personally I wouldn't consider the trilogy the best. Just Underrated. Nonetheless, I'll miss them too. Not because of the stories. Because of the voice casts and gameplay.

I honestly liked The Eternal Night too. The whole trilogy was pretty good. No comparison to the original but I’m a huge Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman fan so...
I liked The Legend of Spyro trilogy when it first came out 10+ years ago. However, after watching various walkthroughs I realized that the voice acting definitely needed some work. Props to Elijah Wood; he did an amazing job!
Lol most of it was really good exsept for the fact the Elisha sounded half backed sometimes in the first 2 games. He did way better with the third. Also for cynder and sparks there voice actors changed across each game. It wasn't as noticeable with cynder although I swear I know every single one of her voice actors from other things. Meanwhile Sparks, well they didn't even try and beat around the bush in the last game.
Zion The Dragon no, they get to much hate from the original Spyro game players just because the story is so long and serious and a little dark (which I love), they always put so much hate on those games and sometimes even cuss at people for liking those games

Here's something interesting: Excluding the Skylanders series and the Crash/Spyro crossover, there are really only 15 Spyro games, including the Reignited Trilogy.
Insomniac Games somehow scrapped the idea of developing a remaster of their trilogy of one of the most iconic games and decided to go the Spider-Man reboot...somehow it worked out for them

Honestly the original 3 were all a tie in my book. They all balanced adventure, problem solving, puzzles together splendidly. Year of the Dragon had many side quests Ripto had a better story and introduced the best characters (Hunter) The Original is just like a big hug
I played both Season of Ice and Season of Flame and all I remember is the amazing Irish-inspired music from the level that you used to announce Number 4. THANK YOU.
I really, REALLY hope Activision decides to remaster the Legend of Spyro trilogy on PS4 someday soon after Reignited. That's my all-time favorite Spyro timeline!
As much as my inner childhood is screaming at me, I have to agree. I was 4/5 playing the Original Trilogy, and I barely remember any of that because I was so young. The only boss I got to was Gnasty. I remember my dad surprising me with A New Beginning and A Hero’s Tail, being so excited for a different Spyro game, something new. Dawn of the Dragon is the only game I have ever completed 100%, including non-Spyro games, it’s probably my favorite Spyro game of all time.
I know they changed Spyro's design in the Skylanders games but they were still good nonetheless. I wish they would make another Skylander game with more characters crossing over if possible.
Spyro, though I only got introduced to you from Skylanders and will be playing your Reignited trilogy, you'll always hold such a special place in my heart alongside Sonic and Nathan Drake. To your future timelines, may it be the glorious start of "a new beginning". Ha, see what I did? A new beginning? Because Legend- Shut up.
Reading these comments makes me feel so old. I was 10 when the very first Spyro game came out, and everyone in the comments is saying they grew up with the legend series 😅
Dawn of the dragon on 6th position? Cmon it was a masterpiece, with cynerea playable, 8 different elemental powers upgradable, the possibility to finally fly whenever you want in big free roaming areas, lots of secrets and armor to find in secret locations, a spectacular graphic for the time...
@@samuelbrent2658 funny you say that because im the exact opposite. Spyro 2 is my favorite and is easily the best in the trilogy. Now spyro 3 in my opinion is the worst because one of the reasons is it had too many minigames for my taste.
Spyro 2 has a lackluster villain that rarely does anything. Most of what's happening in Avalar is because of different populations in Avalar getting in a war against each other with no explanation as to how it started, making Avalar feel underdeveloped in comparisons to the worlds in Spyro 1 and 3. Also, while Spyro 3 does have more minigames, it doesn't force you to play a lot of the minigames to get to the final boss. Spyro 2 requires you to get 40 orbs and the majority of them are from minigames. Spyro 3 has 6 eggs to collect in each level and most of the time, it's usually 3 eggs that you get in the levels with the remaining 3 being in minigames. Because of this, Spyro 3's minigames are mostly optional unlike Spyro 2.
@@samuelbrent2658just got to the 2nd homeworld of spyro 3 and so far the game is so fucking boring and uninteresting. Its hard to complete a level without getting bored I literally play for 10 minutes then play a different game. Where as in spyro 2 I could play that game for hours on end.the blue dinosaur is trash as a villian. I do like bianca she is interesting. I had more fun collecting orbs than collecting baby dragon eggs. Spyro 2s worlds were all memorable and interesting. So far the worlds in spyro 3 I played on were forgettable and boring. All I can remember was skateboarding lol
@Butthurt Sorry but I'm going with Samuel Brent on this one. Spyro 2, while a good sequel, was lacking in the story. Ripto didn't do anything in the story and most of the conflicts in Avalar had no explanation as to how they started. Sure, there are cutscenes in between but they don't explain how it started, it just showed what's going on. It made Avalar have more of an unlikable tone to it and since Ripto barely done anything in the story, it not only makes him come off as lame but also makes him unintentionally sympathetic. He never said he was going to take over Avalar, he just said he and his two minions are moving in to Avalar. The only thing that makes him look like a villain is his design and voice but it's too vague to make him intimidating or come off as a threat. Also. Spyro 3's forgotten realms has more depth to it. Dragons once used to live here until the sorceress got rid of them and in its state where it's falling more and more apart as well as the sorceress actually having a legit evil plan without being too vague about it made it a much more compelling adventure. I didn't give a flang shit about Avalar because there's barely any explanation for what's happening and Ripto didn't do anything which makes the people of Avalar come off as dickish to each other and when combined with colourful worlds makes Avalar come across as jarring. The forgotten realms was interesting because the sorceress was actually a legitimate threat and there's plenty of history with the worlds of this forgotten area. It's funny you say it has too many minigames yet you only manage to get to the 2nd world. Sounds like jumping on the haters bandwagon to me.
I ALWAYS loved Spyro A Hero's Tail when I was a kid, even though I didn't get very far... replayed it a year ago - it wasn't my favourite but still enjoyed it and took LONGGGG to do the (3rd I think) Boss Challenge.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon - One of the best games ever made and one of the few that could be 10/10 Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon Legend of Spyro: New Beginning Spyro the Dragon Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night Spyro: Hero's Tail
Dawn of the Dragon is my favorite, personally. Ripto's Rage was my first-ever game, though, so there's that. So, my ranking is thus: 10. Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure 9. Spyro: Season of Ice 8. Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (yeah, I know, controversial choice; my copy, however, has barely any glitches, so my gameplay is not impeded at all, nor is my love of the game) 7. Spyro: A Hero's Tail 6. The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning 5. Spyro the Dragon 4. The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night 3. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage 2. Spyro: Year of the Dragon 1. The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon Hope to get a PS4 soon so I can play the Reignited Trilogy!
I'm really happy with this video actually. And I'm satisfied that the video included a good criticism about the games in the list (not like anothers), and that not only included the Original Spyro Games, also including The Legend Of Spyro and the first Skylanders' game. That's a great way of initiative about how Spyro fans are together, instead of the many toxic fans that divide the fandom. Legendary video Watchmojo! It was wonderful to see this to get reignited at Spyro's arrive. ;) And this may sound weird, but why including the original trilogy in the video? If the fans already know that is the bedt of the best and can't be suppased, except for Reignited Trilogy, but who I am to decide that? :P Aaaaand, the game that didn't made to the list are: Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, Spyro Orange and The Legend of Spyro The Eternal Night. I think this last one needed to be in. PS: Did someone else noticed that with Crash Bandicoot video they made 5 worst and 5 best games of Crash, but with Spyro they made 10 best Spyro games? For that I love Spyro!
You're beautiful, Phoebe. I have always been a Spyro the Dragon fan myself and I'm really happy with having Spyro Reignited Trilogy because it really brings back childhood memories.
The proper list: 10) Spyro: Enter the dragonfly 9) The Legend of Spyro: The eternal night 8) Spyro: Season of Ice” 7) The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning 6) Spyro: A Hero’s Tail 5) The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon” 4) Spyro 2: Season of Flame 3) Spyro 2) Spyro: Year of the Dragon 1) Spyro: Ripto's Rage
I know they aren't the best of the Spyro games, but I still really love The Legend of Spyro Games. They're underappreciated, and they will always have a special place in my heart.
1. Spyro the Dragon 10/10 2. Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon tied with Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage 9/10 3. Spyro A Hero's Tail 8.5/10 4. Legend of Spyro Games 8/10 5. Other Spyro Games 7/10

“Mini games were incredibly enjoyable”, plays a clip of the hardest part of the Spyro trilogy. 9:31
Im so glad Spyro came back finally. Now maybe this will open the door to a new Spyro game that has the same formula like the original 3 games.
I loved the Legend Of Spyro series and A Hero's Tail. The OG games were good, too.
It's been a while when i last saw a good watchmojo list
Honestly the original 3 were all a tie in my book. They all balanced adventure, problem solving, puzzles together splendidly.
Year of the Dragon had many side quests
Ripto had a better story and introduced the best characters (Hunter)
The Original is just like a big hug
You mean Spyro 3 is vaster right? Spyro 2 also has many side quests
I played both Season of Ice and Season of Flame and all I remember is the amazing Irish-inspired music from the level that you used to announce Number 4. THANK YOU.
Spyro : Season of Ice for gameboy advance is super underrated
If only the camera was zoomed out a little bit. A map would have been great too.
I am so so so so excited!! It's like being a kid all over again and getting a new Spyro!
I really, REALLY hope Activision decides to remaster the Legend of Spyro trilogy on PS4 someday soon after Reignited. That's my all-time favorite Spyro timeline!
Dalton Sturgeon they did
As much as my inner childhood is screaming at me, I have to agree.
It would like a dream came true
I agree, I'm definitely hoping for a Legend of Spyro trilogy remaster one day!
I totally agree! I would love to see a remake of The Legend of Spyro :)
you guys are making a video for spyro.
I love this channel!!!
skylanders wasn't really a spyro game it's a spin off
Year of the Dragon supremacy ✊🏽
YES! YES! *YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!*
Oh my gosh, you made this great video! Ahhh.....my childhood!😊🐲🐉
How dare you put a skylanders game on this list
Arry Young well, it is a good game and the story is good. I have played all the games and i loved all of them
I agree with HLK. It’s fun regardless of Spyro’s design
Exactly i did play them and u know what i liked them the whole game series also it has the worst spot so ya
I know they changed Spyro's design in the Skylanders games but they were still good nonetheless. I wish they would make another Skylander game with more characters crossing over if possible.
Would you rather had spyro enter the dragon fly then😂
Spyro, though I only got introduced to you from Skylanders and will be playing your Reignited trilogy, you'll always hold such a special place in my heart alongside Sonic and Nathan Drake.
To your future timelines, may it be the glorious start of "a new beginning". Ha, see what I did? A new beginning? Because Legend- Shut up.
You did not add The legend of Spyro: The eternal night.
They are tripping, this is easily the best spyro game ever done
I’ve been waiting my entire life for this
I’m honestly super happy Year of the Dragon is number one. That’s always been my favorite and it often gets a bad rep.
Spyro 3 is also my favourite. my least favourite in the trilogy is actually Spyro 2
@Butthurt
Sorry but I'm going with Samuel Brent on this one.
I hope they release a collection of the Legend trilogy soon. Fingers crossed! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
I hope they do a remake of "The Legend of the Trilogy" was my favorite Spyro trilogy.
the other games never liked me xD
Ok
I ALWAYS loved Spyro A Hero's Tail when I was a kid, even though I didn't get very far... replayed it a year ago - it wasn't my favourite but still enjoyed it and took LONGGGG to do the (3rd I think) Boss Challenge.
The only Spiro game I've ever played was Spyro Enter the Dragonfly on the GameCube, I love it, so I'm kinda surprised it's not on this list...
Becasue it's unfinished, buggy, crap of a Spyro game. Probably the worst of all Spyro games, although Spyro Shadow Legacy might fight for this title
Yeah, they put Skylanders on here over that.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
- One of the best games ever made and one of the few that could be 10/10
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage
Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
Legend of Spyro: New Beginning
Spyro the Dragon
Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night
Spyro: Hero's Tail
Dawn of the Dragon is my favorite, personally. Ripto's Rage was my first-ever game, though, so there's that. So, my ranking is thus:
10. Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
9. Spyro: Season of Ice
8. Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (yeah, I know, controversial choice; my copy, however, has barely any glitches, so my gameplay is not impeded at all, nor is my love of the game)
7. Spyro: A Hero's Tail
6. The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
5. Spyro the Dragon
4. The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night
3. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage
2. Spyro: Year of the Dragon
1. The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
Hope to get a PS4 soon so I can play the Reignited Trilogy!
Ok
I'm really happy with this video actually.
And I'm satisfied that the video included a good criticism about the games in the list (not like anothers), and that not only included the Original Spyro Games, also including The Legend Of Spyro and the first Skylanders' game. That's a great way of initiative about how Spyro fans are together, instead of the many toxic fans that divide the fandom.
Legendary video Watchmojo! It was wonderful to see this to get reignited at Spyro's arrive. ;)
And this may sound weird, but why including the original trilogy in the video? If the fans already know that is the bedt of the best and can't be suppased, except for Reignited Trilogy, but who I am to decide that? :P
Aaaaand, the game that didn't made to the list are: Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, Spyro Orange and The Legend of Spyro The Eternal Night. I think this last one needed to be in.
PS: Did someone else noticed that with Crash Bandicoot video they made 5 worst and 5 best games of Crash, but with Spyro they made 10 best Spyro games? For that I love Spyro!
Skylanders spyro's adventure ISN'T a spyro game, it is it's own thing!
I'm so happy Year of the Dragon was number one
Dawn of the Dragon should've been way higher. That soundtrack was magic
You're beautiful, Phoebe. I have always been a Spyro the Dragon fan myself and I'm really happy with having Spyro Reignited Trilogy because it really brings back childhood memories.
Yesss ! spyro3 is the best forever
i honestly love the one called dawn of the dragon- Its awesome!
Finally, a Spyro top games that is totally honest, not nostalfag and that doesn't insult the other versions just for being different.
Skylanders is not a Spyro game at all, that's like saying Smash Bros is a Super Mario game just because Mario's in it
I agree Skylanders shouldn't even be on this list to begin with 😠
Thank you WM. Spyro is one of the greatest things in the world for me.
The proper list:
10) Spyro: Enter the dragonfly
9) The Legend of Spyro: The eternal night
8) Spyro: Season of Ice”
7) The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
6) Spyro: A Hero’s Tail
5) The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon”
4) Spyro 2: Season of Flame
3) Spyro
2) Spyro: Year of the Dragon
1) Spyro: Ripto's Rage
I can... actually mostly agree with this. Good list.
enter the dragonfly is atleast top 5 dude
SPEAK IT, GIRL!! I nominated Spyro the Dragon for #1 when we were ranking this!!!
The nostalgia
I know they aren't the best of the Spyro games, but I still really love The Legend of Spyro Games. They're underappreciated, and they will always have a special place in my heart.
Did I just hear Kratos at 4:16?
Yes hahaha pure 100% kratos in dragon format haha
Walker Black LMFAOOOOO how did I not catch that!?
That would be cool, but it isn't Christopher Judge. It's Kevin Michael Richardson
@@raidenakajacktheripper5988 Wow they sound so similar.
Lmao right
1. Spyro the Dragon 10/10
2. Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon tied with Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage 9/10
3. Spyro A Hero's Tail 8.5/10
4. Legend of Spyro Games 8/10
5. Other Spyro Games 7/10
Here for Ripto's Rage, which needs to be ethier number #1 or 2 ,best spyro Eva
Sound track and boss fights was on point for its time ,plus it's awesome adventure
