Do you think biomechanically is better and safe do it like you do in the video or at lat machine just bend you backward with knees blocked?
The only real advantage of doing it at the lat pull station is not having to worry about stabilizing yourself. The disadvantage is I find that it’s easy to inadvertently move your torso forward and back which would alter the angle of the pull
@@ciaranmehigan1206 I don’t feel there’s necessarily better tempos for different exercises but I do vary my tempo on workouts. Sometimes it’s quicker with a 1-0-1 and sometimes it’s slower with a 3-1-3, but the one thing they have in common is I always try to maintain control and keep things smooth - especially transitioning from eccentric to concentric
No bands today either? Can you explain why?:) i asked becuase i am training with bands now and dumbells and love to see all the diffrent exercises you can do with bands that you have showed.
Mainly because I don't train exclusively with bands anymore. I love them and incorporate them all the time in my workouts but I did bands exclusively for almost 5 years and I started to get bored with it so I reintroduced other training tools into my workouts. I usually stick to same tempo speed but did try the lat Pull Down trick and felt good. Do you find James certain exercises can suit different temp??
