My husband took my son as his own. We got married when my firstborn was 11 years old. When asked, my husband doesn't hesitate to say he has four sons. Never *stepson* and that's a beautiful thing. (My oldest is now 29. My husband is 40. It's always hilarious seeing people try to do that math. I'm six years older than my husband.)

At Seventeen I had to learn how to walk talk eat on my own everything I was essentially an infant at 17. Mine was from a car accident and that was so difficult it was the most difficult thing I've ever been through. It is also degrading in a way because it's 17 I had to be potty trained again it can be very humiliating. I am so happy for this woman that she was able to give an impact statement and I hope that she has fully recovered. It's so heartbreaking I feel bad for so many people that have had to do that I know I'm not the only one. Even though we all got there in different ways it was the same result of trying to heal. Some get better than others there's many that if he'll better than me and I feel better than others and it just breaks my heart. No one should ever have to go through that I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy but I hope she understands how strong of a person she is. Also to anyone that might read this comment if you have been through anything like that or anyting extremely difficult at all always remember that you fought you one and you are tough person and no one can take that away from you. Maddie thinks tried to kill you but guess what you're still here you won.

Also could you do a story on Kendall Francois. He is from Poughkeepsie New York a serial killer he worked at my husband School. All the kids absolutely loved him and you would have had no idea although they did say he was a bit stinky. Fred Rosen wrote my favorite book about him entitled body dump. He truly lived in a house of horrors with his mom who had no idea. His house was right across from one of my doctors it was nuts. I think only one other TH-camr has ever done as worried about him so it would be cool to listen to u tell it.
First, I have been sober for 24 years, but I was that girl who was sloppy drunk, accepting rides from, going home with complete strangers...endings for women like me are a shallow grave and a bio on the milk carton...I can NEVER be grateful enough for the happy outcome I received. I stopped drinking in 2011 after my husband crashed his motorcycle. He survived but lost his ACL and PCL in one knee, and shredded his ankle, now held together with metal rods. And that was a LUCKY outcome. I was a bartender when we met in 2002. I made some extremely stupid, dangerous choices back then. I also ran away to Los Angeles at 14, with a grown man who groomed me. I slept under a freeway overpass, so naive. I would walk down Hollywood Blvd at 3am, oblivious to danger. I was assaulted, drugged, but with the aid of Covenant House, I was able to get a flight back to South Carolina, changed forever but *ALIVE* and after hearing too many horror stories to count, I can honestly say I cherish my life so much, I recognize my good fortune to only have psychological issues to deal with. I'm still alive. So I win. 💞💯✨

Never rely on a “friend” to have ur back…most times, they really don’t
One time I drank as I normally did but I was on new medication so I got fucked up, I didn't realize the risk I was in until I was being handed a bunch of glasses of water and I looked around me and I was in a small apartment with 3 men, I got a bit scared but after 30mins one of their girlfriends arrived and we were playing Uno and it just sat with me the risk that I got myself into... If my friends had the slightest malice in them, that would've been the end of me. And it's not like I'm applauding them for doing the bare fucking minimum, but they just gave me a lot of water and made sure I was better before putting me in an Uber to my home, they called me 15 mins later to check if I made it okay and everything.
We know "not all men", but it's enough of them that I was scared for my life that night.

Happy new year Brit, hopefully it'll be a better year for me too. Couldn't be worse than the last year! My phone even died on me, just literally refused to charge up the night before New year's Eve, so I spent ALL NIGHT trying to fix it as it got lower and lower til it died fully. Luckily my old phone works, just, so I was able to put one of my sim cards into it and my brother ordered me a new one on his Amazon prime account so it came yesterday. I feel like it was symbolic, all the pics I have of me and my ex are on there and can't be retrieved so it really is a new start. I'm way happier on my own anyway xx

Great video! I find myself catching up on the older ones in your collection and I truly enjoy the way you honor the victims and their lives. I don't think I could watch it in any other format, actually. I could go on and on by thoughts on this but I'll keep it simple. Kenia was a normal 19-year-old, partying clubbing and never deserved to die that way- no one does! And I have to definitely celebrate Tony and his devotion to all in his family. Well done! Thank you for your work. No It's s much appreciated. Hubby got caught up again. He loves watching them with me. Lol (I always mention that because it's so hard to get him to focus on something. But you have the knack! Go girl!) I pray Lydia has been able to resume a life of peace and happiness. She sounds like an awesome and strong woman. BTW, in my early years, I made those same choices and probably put myself at risk many times. Whew...

No matter how large our group u go together u leave together - if someone use to leave early by taxi we went with them n we stood in front of the taxi n took a photo of his number plate or taxi id so the driver knew we had his details n most taxi drivers said well done girls fir takin a photo of his id !! ……. So many cases where friends didn’t do this …. So sad …

I had a nightclub in a tourist area for over 30 years. I can’t believe that they kicked her out and didn’t get her purse for her. If someone kicked out a patron and didn’t allow her to get her purse or go get her purse they would have been fired.
The nightclub should have also had a contract with a taxi service to handle patrons that couldn’t drive. Or at least a list of taxis and car services at the front door that could be called in this situation.
And we didn’t ever use the word bouncers. They were called doormen. They were in charge of the door. Who got in and who got out. A matter of safety.
Doormen should be trained to watch the guests coming in such as, if they are already intoxicated, appear too young etc.
They should also be trained on how to get a guest out safely. Call a cab, walk them to their car or find their friends if they are being kicked out.
Yes they are big and very strong. But their purpose isn’t to throw people out without a lifeline. Or to beat the shit out of someone acting like an ass. Their purpose is to contain the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible to protect the other patrons and to protect people from their self.
Working at a bar is a job. Not a house party. No drinking on the job just because you are working at a bar. What other job entitles you to drink alcohol? You are in a situation where you should be keeping people safe. Not over pouring to get better tips or allowing people to get sloppy drunk. You need to be aware of how people are acting and notice when someone is getting too drunk or possibly on drugs/been drugged.
The nightclub shouldn’t be a personal party house for the owner or the employees. Because you have people’s lives in your hands.
I’m not saying that all of these things were happening at this club. But they certainly didn’t have the guests safety in mind.
This is horrifying and the club certainly bares some of the blame because they set this ball in motion. If they had handled the situation properly she wouldn’t have been a target.

Obviously he did it. That's what killers do. They are the last person to see a victim, they give some story about the victim going off with some sketchy guy/s who can't be tracked down. Sounds a lot like the murder of this girl Wendi Long. The last person to see her alive also said he dropped her off at a gas station with friends.

Such a sad story..it baffles me how people can commit such hideous crimes like this..like what goes through their heads to make them capable of doing the horrific things they do to mostly strangers..like how can they hate someone they dont know and how can they keep doing it when their victims beg for them not too..how can a person hear such heartbreaking pleas and continue on with their horrific attacks..how does that not snap them back to reality..the hardest cases to hear are the kids stories..mostly they are kids who endure horrific abuse from the people who are supposed to love and protect them from the monsters that hurt kids..like I always think about the cries of terror and pleads that the kids do when being attacked..they usually say "please mommy or daddy stop hurting me..I love you..please stop...bow does that not snap those monsters out of their actions..how can people dissociate themselves during the attack they are inflicting on their own child..I just cant wrap my head around that and I'll never be able too..sorry about this novel of a comment I've done I just really wanted to get that off my chest..love u🥰🥰..I'm leaving another comment right after this because I have a suggestion on a case I would like to hear u cover..I promise it wont be another novel of a comment I promise

Why is the story always that they left them at a gas station? I've been bingeing on true crime lately and there are so many left at a gas station stories that I literally told my mom never to believe someone left me at one. If they say that call the cops. 😳
My suggestion of a case is another brutal and heartbreaking tragedy that should have never happened..its about the 15 year old from the bronx in NYC named Lesandro Guzman-Feliz aka junior..he was brutally murdered by 5 dipsbits from the Trinatorios gang all caught on video...its awful and that baby should always be remembered and have his story told so I really would like for u to cover it..I know you'll do an awesome and respectful job on this case..so please consider doing it..
