My grandad recently died in February, i first noticed shortness of breath in july 2023, and in January he waa struggling to get up the stairs and walking, and at the start of February this year he went to hospital and then 2 weeks later on the 16 th February my nana went to the hospital at 2am and when she came home she told me he passed away, ans then march the 7th he got cremated
Thinking of that time my ex wore proyection removing this stuff but made me help and didnt give me a mask or tell me what it was until after he has thrown alot at me and laughed. Even after getting covered I had never heard of asbestos before. Ive had a misdiagnosed lung problem..i never thought that story would be maybe linked to it....until now
@sephinew3333 I'm so sorry you went through that experience. It's incredibly concerning to think that something like asbestos exposure might have been involved, especially without being properly informed or protected. Asbestos is a serious health risk, and exposure can lead to long-term lung issues, including conditions like asbestosis, lung cancer, or mesothelioma, often developing years after the exposure. Given that you've had a misdiagnosed lung problem, it might be a good idea to speak with a healthcare provider about your concerns, especially in light of this past experience. They can help you with testing and monitoring your lung health, and may recommend seeing a specialist, such as a pulmonologist, to get a clearer picture of what might be going on. Your health and safety are incredibly important, and it's never too late to seek guidance on protecting yourself from potential risks. Please take care of yourself, and don't hesitate to reach out to a professional who can provide the support and care you need.
I inhaled asbestos when I was drilling a hole through an Asbestos-material roof today (from the bottom looking up). I'm doomed. 😢 Only realised after what I had done. I'm soo stressed right now.
@DonnyChords I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way-it’s understandable to be worried. While brief asbestos exposure isn’t always harmful, it’s important to consult a doctor for peace of mind and guidance. They might recommend monitoring your health or a lung function test. Remember, stress won’t help, so take deep breaths and focus on proactive steps. You’ve got this! 💙✨
No need to worry because I am just as stressed as you are because I accidentally got a metal rod on my (supposedly a asbestos ceiling) and pulled that thing out with particles knowing that I breathed that whole thing in.
My whole house is made up of these asbestos and I am worried that I breathed in some of the fibers and has worried me for weeks. One time I had also breathed in a lot after removing a metal rod from my ceiling causing dust to get into my lungs.😰😰😭😭 More scary is that I have asthma.😰😰😰😰😰😰😰

Breathing in even a small amount of certain substances can indeed be concerning. It's crucial to prioritize safety and take necessary precautions. ❤️
