Tripping The Live Fantastic was the first Paul McCartney solo album I ever bought, back in about 2000-2001 (Xmas holiday, I forget exactly when). This was the opening song on it and I was hooked. Flowers In The Dirt was the first of his studio albums that I bought soon after. I wasn't as enamoured of the studio version of this song, but then I discovered that the single was a completely different recording, closer in sound to this, so I got hold of a copy online last year. I think I still prefer this live version out of all of them.
