Just so you guys understand: First round: pistol, buy everything u can. Second round: If lost first round, eco, if won first round, buy stuff such as spectre, marshall, bulldog, etc. Third round: If you won pistol and second round, half buy, if won pistol but lost second round, eco, if lost both rounds, full buy, if lost pistol but won second round, full buy/half buy (depends a bit on stituation)

wrong, if you win pistol but lose 2nd round you force, because you wont have enough to full buy round 4 even if you full save.
@@hryx7777 well, you dont have money to half buy, so even if you buy everyhing you can, it will be spectre light shield max (most of the times youll not have credits for that). So the best option is saving and doing light shield vandal/phantom on round 4
Even in ascendant lobby, a lot of players don't buy in the second round. Or even if they buy, it's half shields and spectres and that one idiot who refuses to even half buy. If the enemy got the plant and lost and they forced light shields and spectres and you have the same buy, you winning the pistol round literally gives you no advantage. Let's say you lost the second round because you didn't go full shield and spectres, now that idiot who didn't buy in the second round will buy a vandal while your team ecos and you will most likely lose this round cause it's pistols and a rifle vs spectres and now your team eco is effectively fucked. I swear people need to understand how economy works.
idk what kinda npc ascendant lobbies u get but most likely those people are boosted then. As an Ascendant myself, 99% of my teammates always buy 2nd round. It’s just common sense.
@@agentvalk5198 and here's the thing, they aren't bad players per se. They'll be hitting some nice shots here and there but it's that they just don't have any idea how economy works. I had a yoru who saved up 3 rounds to buy an op...on attack. No comms no playing with team. This guy had an immortal buddy. Mumbai server.

It’s wild, they call the 2nd round when you fill but after winning pistol a “force”, they think bonusing is just when you grab someone else’s gun, saving after winning pistol so you can buy a vandal, forcing after losing pistol because they think saving just means buying lower tier guns, not actually considering how much money they’ll have next round.
As a bronze player I've had to listen to my teammates urging me to upgrade from a spectre to a vandal in the bonus round and I'd always have to refuse.
I'd rather use my existing half buy and have a boatload of credits the next 2 rounds than upgrade to a full buy, lose and then have to eco the next round.
I've never really understood that bonus round thing but this vid was really helpful, thanks!
Never save after you’ve won a round unless your team is bonusing
This applies to both CS and Valorant. If you win the pistol and the Anti Eco, you will have a bonus round that plays out in 1 of 2 ways (depends on opponents buy in round 2 and the game you're playing)
1: your opponents have a strong fullbuy because they full ecoed round 2 (very rare in the current CS meta) and if you win the round, it will reset their economy, and they will have at most a partial buy.
2: they have weaker guns (galils/famas or bulldogs/smgs) but more utility, or stronger guns with limited utility because they forced round 2. Meaning that even if you lose round 3, they don't get much of a weapon upgrade, and your team will/should have enough money for a super strong buy going into the 4th round of play.
Pistol rounds are important. But a pistol win means absolutely nothing if you dont convert the second round.
Meanwhile in lower elo, when they lose the pistol round, they always full buy the next round. When they win the pistol, they save up like shit and buy nothing the next round.
Just buy 3rd round even if alot of teammates died 2nd round. Light shield and rifle. Your ultimate goal is to win rounds, not gain best eco score.
this is great information, but my diamond teammates don’t understand the “arcane technology” that is valorant economy.
And if u win bonus you get a free rifle for whoever lived and the enemy have to save for 1-2 rounds

While starting to play Valorant, I'd have trouble understanding a Bonus round, coming from years of understanding CS economy where the concept of a Bonus round didn't really exist until the latest economy change 2-3 years ago, and even then lotta people just preferred buying rifles second round over going for Bonus weapons to help counter force buys, which are pretty strong in CSGO compared to VAL.

if im losing 1st round as defender, i would buy marshal and light shield for 2nd round (if im duelist). its good gamble if u have good aim. get some kills so u have money for 3rd round.

I would point out that depending on your teams cohesion and capability, buying a single rifle can be significant in improving your odds of winning even against a full buy, so it is worth maybe one person breaking standard buying rules for rifle as long as your team is minimally competent as a whole
I keep my pistol for up to 3 rounds or when I die cause I practiced it alot. And if I'm low on money I buy minimal items & save at least 1000 for the next 2 rounds.
And then I get free OP as Chamber :3

not to mention if you do actuwlly manage to win a bonus round with a trap play or what not, game is bassically over because your eco is gonna go wild
The only time you should save on round 2 is when your team is buying and you are playing the lurk role. So typically you would go heavy shield and ghost or frenzy or sheriff if you picked one up. Basically a gun that you can lurk with vs weaker guns since gun strength doesn’t matter if you’re killing from behind. Also if you die during the lurk with no teammates around it doesn’t really benefit the enemy to pick up your gun since it isn’t stronger than theirs.

Best thing to do one 2nd round is to donate the spectres to the ppl that died and buy up. If no one dies then keep it all. By the forth round win or lose you should have like 6k credits

Well I use the “trolling kit” (yes I made that up just mow) which is using Raze with specter half/full shield(most common), phantom full shield(if eco is popping off), AWP half/full shield (depends if i feel like AWP crutching or not). Also, no shotguns are not implemented in this build because that requires going against the morals I’ve built through CoD back in Bo2, but shotguns would most likely be a good addition since Raze is a movement character.

Second round (if the map is small, I use Bucky, if big map I use Marshal
1st round: Buy impactful utility and maybe + pistol
If win 1st round
2nd round: buy full(gun shield and util)
If win, save 3rd round,
3rd round: buy util and shield
If enemy full buy, and you won the round, get their gun then buy for your team mate who met jesus.
I always full buy what my money can reach. Plus I don't throw out weapon, I instead donate them or play with that weapon until I die, or when I killed someone with better gun I swap it.
And if my armor from previous round doesn't reduced to 25 or less I won't buy another Heavy shield

i usually save the 1st and 2nd round. in both cases win or loss. If its a win on 3rd round i will have OP and if its a loss i will half buy and take a bulldog and half shield to force an OP into the 4th round

I love when round 3 turns bonus, then all I want to do is get a vandal, but we keep winning rounds and I’m stuck with my specter or Marshall for the next 3 rounds cause the enemy team can’t afford a vandal for me to yoink.

I found out in higher ranks, buying two or three rifles (vandals/phantoms) in 2nd round is useful asf while having the other two players buy the usual smg + util (usually the controller and initiator)

its not worth the risk, in higher lobbies people know how to sheriff 2nd round so basically if you get overwhelmed by 5 people with an 800 credit gun a full buy 2nd round wont save you or block the whole push, you also have to consider the possibility of a lurker no one noticed which could easily take a rifle away and then your 'full buy' round is fucked up
