It is difficult to hear the words, the passion in his lyrics and the genius of notes and not want to cry. His voice still sounds the same. This sounded as good as the radio version, and that is rare for a live performance. John Anderson is an icon in country music.
His song always brings back a flood of memories of my daddy! Thank you John Anderson
As a Floridian this is one of my favorites
Still to this the most powerful country voice I've ever heard in concert. If you've never heard John in concert he shakes whatever building he's performing in. Saw him open for Alan Jackson years ago.
~~ thanks for all your great songs to help us enjoy life with you!
This man is like fine wine.
Love John and that song.
So good to see Jon still putting it down, a true country legend and what a timeless classic!!
I'm blown away!!!!!!
kid in the front row doesn't know it yet, but he's listening to a legend
Thomas Epps kid going to have a good story to tell one day
I agree
The ONLY kid in the diner that day
Hopefully the story he tells will be understood...the younger generations might not even know who John Anderson was, sad as that is.
Best part about younger generations, is they have to eventually grow up. Music like this takes wisdom to appreciate.
It is difficult to hear the words, the passion in his lyrics and the genius of notes and not want to cry. Its about Florida but it applies all across America where greed and waste has no end - no satisfaction. Some call it progress. I call it irresponsible. Another big box store, strip mall or subdivision. It's sad. I share John's passion. Thank you John for caring.
As a Floridian i understand everything in the song sad all that is gone today
I live in Fort Lauderdale where we can’t drain our clean pool water out in the canals without being fined but the city management can dump millions of gallons of raw sewage in the canals and pollute our drinking water with no recourse.
