Jesus he kills it. I was thinking maybe he lost some of his voice. But no. He proved me wrong like an idiot. Killed it John. Almost better than the radio version.

This song isn't just a song. It's a piece of the stone tablet of humans chronicles on this earth. We know of a land that's fading away. As earth does turn. And this man wrote the tale. May we carry it for many many years. 🙏

This song continues to be relevant today in Florida- every day now the trees and wildlife are being mowed down, starved out, and paved over. I love this song and his voice- wow !!

As a Florida native the lyrics of this song hit me hard ! I've always loved it, even when I was a rock-n-roller !
I had an aunt who lived in John's hometown of Apopka many years ago, went to visit her there a few times.

Native Floridian here. Song came rushing back to my conscious from my subconscious a few days ago. I feel like something triggered it. We must protect our state at all costs. This land is blessed by the great Spirit. We must take care and nurture our home and help her flourish. Good men and women still here. Tears of joy and great fullness pouring down my face. Thank you God.

Ya Know no one can do this type entertaining to us quite like John. I saw him in person one lonely night along with my brother and sister in law to be many many years ago. Our favorites at that time were Chicken Truck, Old Chunk of Coal, Black Sheep and of course Swingin' ! It was a roadside type of diner/bar thing just like this >> in Virginia . Hard to believe it has been over 30 years since I saw him. Seems like yesterday. What an impact. He sounded and acted just like this !!! A true entertainer .. Thank you JOHN ANDERSON and for this post .
