Instead of basing with pearlescent watercolors, have you thought about coloring the whole image using metallic pencils? Kalour has a 72 pencil metallic set that looks nice. Im sure there are others too. Great video!

@@rosavaldes2599 they have a pack of black 8b. Just saw them on Amazon. I do think it would remove oil pastel but it's not like it matters.
