So I know this is a strange question ⁉️ I got a job in Mannheim germany working for an american company. The pay is about 80k UDS yearly. That's all the wiggle ro they would allow. Is that an average salary for germany is that good or should I say no to the job.
I'm German and I lost my job as an instructor at a community college in Florida in the 1990s because I was dating a black woman and we kissed in the hallways of the college. People also stared at us when we were shopping at a mall. I think interracial relationships in the South are still not widely accepted.

You would be correct in that thought. Racism is the the US is still the same. It doesn’t change. It’s a very American thing. By seeing you with a black woman, the other whites probably saw you as a “race traitor” and didn’t trust you or know how to take you. It’s very off putting to some of them. How was the black woman treated that you were with.

Yes family not liking another race is still a thing. I am currently talking to a white German guy and I don’t know how I am going to tell my family. They always say little and ignorant things about white people... like come on it’s 2021! But I just always have to think to myself that this is my life and not theirs so they shouldn’t really care.
