Tbh, I was expecting it to be a funny video where his silly mistakes rather feature in the video. When I think of Adrian, all i remember are his hilarious moments of conceding goals he could easily have avoided.
I think he has lost his confidence. After saving that penalty in the super cup (albeit with a bit of luck) he was confident and (bar I think 1 mistake against Southampton away) he did well in goal when covering for Alisson for about 10 matches at the start of last season. But for some reason he always looked nervous from the start of the Atletico game and since then he’s been making mistakes left right and centre and if not looking very vulnerable. I know you could argue he’s been more exposed with the defence we currently have but when he was used before the Atletico game he looked solid when called upon despite the fact he had a full strength and in form defence.
For me Adrian is good goalkeeper. Yes he is not the best. But he is second choice. You can't have goalkeepers like Alisson first choice, Ter Stegen second and Buffon third. Every second choice goalkeeper makes more mistakes than first choice goalkeeper. Adrian had good saves against Ajax and had good saves last season. So that's why I think Adrian is good goalkeeper

it's amazed me how easy it's for people to forget how he won us 2 cup( super cup and fifa club world cup) , contributed about 1/3 of our journey to be the champion of england and now they blame him for everything, yes i know atletico 3-2, that was his fault i get it but how can you guys be so sure that if we’d gone through we would’ve won the whole thing, i'm not defending him for his mistakes but i'm defending him because all i hear is 'oh if it was not because of him , we would have won the champion league" , and for the aston villa match , it was not just his error but our fucking defenders and midfielders played like shit if it was Becker we would still gonna lose maybe not 7-2 but 6-2 instead , like that would’ve made any thing better. these saves are amazing but i guess it's adrian so it becomes unimpressed and normal. After the last season it feels like our fanbase has become more and more unforgiving and delusional.
That's unfortunately the fans who have either recently started watching football or who have recently switched to football. True fans have loved Liverpool through all these difficult years, we've loved every player who proudly played for our club, winning the league after so long is something we are very grateful for, and Adrian was solid last season and had a big role to play in winning the title. He just needs to get his confidence back. These unforgiving plastic fans are making it real hard for him. It's a pity we have such people supporting our club. They drown the voice of the true fans with their nonsense and don't carry the spirit of the club. The true fans are telling Adrian, you'll never walk alone.
