I really feel for you having so many piggies ill at the same time. I've been fortunate that when any of mine have been ill, it's just been one at a time but even that is so stressful. I hope they all recover soon.
On a brighter note, today has been the first time it's been warm enough in the UK for my 6 boys to be outside in their run. Usually they're in separate pairs inside so I was expecting lots of rumble strutting and teeth chattering at least but they've all been super chill as one herd, even though they haven't been brave enough to explore outside so have been sharing a relatively small coop/hutch so far. I expect them to go exploring towards dusk and enjoy their timothy grass "meadow" and tunnels.

Olive's sticky bum is probably from her grease gland, this happens with my boys on occasion. This is totally normal to get buildup there! Saskia talks about this. She recommends a degreaser or bath (like you did) should take care of it easily!

You know you’re getting older when you no longer say, I’m 56 going on 57. Lol I love going to arts and crafts fairs. I’ve gotten some really great stuff from there. Love the funnel cakes. They have a huge one every August in Lexington, KY. The SMZ took care of my girl’s URI.

One of my boys had a uri and was refusing Critical Care I mixed in strawberry pedilyte and he would scarf it down. I think it the electrolytes help as well. Great video.

You are so lucky your vet is affordable, my vet charges over $100 for each check up, last time I went for a false URI and spent $300 for 1 pig for just a checkup and preventative antibiotics, not even x-ray, x-ray would have cost $150 more...
Yes! My vet is very affordable bc they are still privately owned. Thank goodness! Most vet clinics have all been bought out by corporations and therefore they have these set rates that are so high! Like a neighboring clinic is $95 just to be seen. A full exam at my vet is $30 and a brief exam is $15. I would never have been able to rescue as many pigs as I have if I didn’t have the vet clinic I do. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THEM!🙏🏼🙏🏼

Oil baths are for skinny piggies they can’t really get real baths it messes with their oils
