When you use a bare metal hammer or screwdriver on the engine parts, such as when installing the spark plug tube seals and when taking out the half moon in this video, is there a concern that the impact from the metal tools may warp the engine parts and cause the new gaskets to not seal correctly? When I did the valve cover gasket replacement on my 1996 LS400, I used a piece of wood between the tools and the engine parts to reduce the impact...
This may be the incorrect placement for this question, but I have a 2023 Corolla cross hybrid. I have listened to your review, which was excellent! What is your opinion? I have a small motorcycle pop-up camper which probably weighs around 800 pounds loaded.

Hello brother Ahmed, I am about to buy 2023 Acura RDX w/ Aspec trim, it has 10k miles on it would like to know your opinion on it and what is the common issues you've experienced with it or well known about this car?
My proctologist wanted to change career and went back to school to become a mechanic. He got 120% on his final exam. Teacher gave him 100% for completely rebuilding an engine, and an extra 20% because he did it all through the exhaust.
Another garage did a couple of videos on "most expensive car to maintain" and "least expensive" based on their repair records. Not surprisingly, Honda and Mazda were on the top 5 low repair cost video, but Toyota came in #6. The garage owner explained that a lot of expensive repairs they did on Toyotas were owners paying to get their 20 or 30-year-old vehicles repaired. Kia was on the low cost list, but only because many new cars came in and needed a warrantee-covered engine replacement, so the only garage cost as a diagnostic. Knowing, this, what brand would you buy?

I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport with 10,654 miles on the power train. All services to this point have been performed by the dealership. Recently my truck went into Limp Home Mode. I took it to the dealership. Cylinders 2 & 4 have low compression (below 100 psi). They bore scoped the cylinders and found scoring on the walls and excessive carbon build up. The dealership and Toyota claim I am at fault and the truck is out of warranty. I have had all the fluids changed with AMSOIL products every 3,000 miles. I also use B&G 44K at each oil change. Any advise?

I'm sure he did off camera.
Also, do the bolts have grommets? And I am not sure you tightened the bolts in the correct order.
YES!!🎉🎉🎉
I hope Tavarish is watching. He should be doing this same stuff on his Million Mile Lexus that he got from Matt Farah.
Curious how much that box of parts cost @ 12:15
why do you turn the ratchet wrench to the OFF position when storing?
Just a bit of fun. The sort of thing techs tell a new apprentice 😉
@@NotNowCato1254 Ah. Well, I know you relieve tension on a torque wrench but thought maybe I'd missed something about ratchets in my 60+ years of using them!
@@thelews4 Have to admit it took me a few seconds to catch on 😂
31:20 do I see mice nest under intake?
I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport with 10,654 miles on the power train. All services to this point have been performed by the dealership. Recently my truck went into Limp Home Mode. I took it to the dealership. Cylinders 2 & 4 have low compression (below 100 psi). They bore scoped the cylinders and found scoring on the walls and excessive carbon build up. The dealership and Toyota claim I am at fault and the truck is out of warranty. I have had all the fluids changed with AMSOIL products every 3,000 miles. I also use B&G 44K at each oil change. Any advise?
