- On `Dickinson's Real Deal', flamboyant antiques expert and presenter David Dickinson hosts the show where you can make the most money for your antiques, the results of which can produce big windfalls or big busts.
The challenge is how to get the best deal. Contestants meet the dealers who offer cash for an item. The seller must decide whether to accept the guaranteed money or risk fortune or failure in the auction room. Of course, placing one's trust in a positive auction outcome is a gamble in itself! Will they make the right choice?

The dalton vase I think was made specially for someone who worked for dalton lambert OR was a new design that was made, all those years ago that’s why it’s not marked?
Those musical boxes even though they predated television, I bet they still had Bradley Walsh on them.
Ian is a Fountain ⛲ of Knowledge "..
The silver overlay vase only got to 480 because the auctioneer was running it up to the reserve....it probably didn't have a genuine bid over 380. People have this idea that everything will fly at auction, but the buyer premium would take it up to 600+ to get the seller around 400 net.....the only winner is the auction house.
I enjoy watching Ian, but the truth is that, for the very most part, pawn brokers are thieves whose main victims are people who are in need. It's not a nice thing.
Hi Ian from posh pawn😊
I’ve watched this programme for years and apart from a couple of delightful men I think all the sellers get ripped off. If they don’t want to go to auction, eBay is a great place where you can put your own reserve if you wish. Otis cruel to see how some of these people get ripped off. At some auction sites as well.
Its sad to see people begging for more 😔
Just 50p more 🤺
So that pot could be a fake
