Rollback Saves | Restore Progress | Simple AUTOMATIC Backup/Restore Guide for Palworld

- If you've done something you shouldn't have, lost progress or anything else - Don't worry! You can restore your progress to an AUTOMATIC backup in Palworld. These happen OFTEN and you'll likely have everything you've just lost, or are missing. This simple guide shows you how to rollback a save for the Steam version of Palworld.

I accidentally turned off the computer and turned it back on, and the world I built for 50 hours disappeared.

Thank you so much for this video! I had around 30 hours of progress and was level 29, and when I opened my game and it synced to steam, it set me back to level 8 and was quite upset. I was able to get back to the point I was at! :)
omg, i'm glad it's you again, your help is always 100%.
i bought the game, sucessfully imported my xbox account file to steams location, got hooked on cake and bred an almost perfect Anubis and Lyleen (with Chillet on the way) n fuggen bam. my PC froze up, i had to rest. screwed my file, had to roll back several autosaves.

I had a cloud conflict with the steam deck, it showed the correct file when I booted the game (lv 26 world) but when I started it the game forced a new level one character into the world and overrode all progress. It took me hours of searching through files and FAQ's to eventually stumble onto this video and it worked like a charm! Leaving a like and comment to help you out.

I had a couple friends use the memory reset medicine, which is currently broken and resets your lifmunk effigy capture level (which cannot be re-obtained). This guide saved their characters!!

Just lost a huge guild base to a fire that somehow started during a hard raid. Everything in the base burned down despite throwing every water pal i had out. Thankfully I was able to save it using this video. Thank you for the tutorial!
Genuinly saved me 20 hours of work lol, my floor randomly exploded for no apparant reason, destroying my pal pc, effecitvly destroying all things required to be in base, and also destrying my main storage boxes, so basically outside of my pals, reset my base to 0. Thank you so much for this
Thank you so much TC, I used that Memory Wipe Tonic to reset my skills. Right now there is a bug that it will also reset your LIFMUNK EFFIGY at the statue without refunding them. This saved me a lot as I was at level 8.

DUDE, you are a freaking hero! I experience a game breaking bug, which caused my base to have a glitchy piece of "big wall ivy" and no matter what I did, it would NOT go away. Using this method fixed it 👍
For anyone wondering, the glitch is triggered when you put a stone defensive wall down, and then put the wall ivy on it, if you then destroy the defensive wall, no matter what you do, the wall ivy will not go away, it just stays there floating in the air. Thought I'd share as a warning.
That was so good, I had my save file corrupt or something and it was completely lost and this fixed it!

YOURE I GOD SEND! I been playing this for days without sleep grinding and my completed crashed and my whole world was gone!
IMPORTANT NOTE: if your world ever gets deleted (not just data revert), create a new world and character then copy and paste all the data from the deleted world (USE second last or third last folder if the last folder doesn't work as it didn't for me) onto your new world

Like if you're not the server owner, does this still work to get the other players data back that's saved to that world (Pals and whatnot)?
My partner had the world that we both played on, but I don't know if it'd just get their data back instead of both of us?
