Very informative and FUN video! I guess I am behind the times. I have stubbornly refused to transition to LED because the the cold, harsh look of them did not fit with my Victorian home. But I've noticed that they now can have that warm incandescent glow and I came here to see what I should be shopping for if I make the switch. Question: Will LEDs really last longer? I grow so weary of having to replace my outside string lights (sometimes mid-season in the cold!).
Thank you for watching! Our LEDs depending on which brand you buy start at 75,000 hours of running time and have a 3 year warranty. They have a rectifier to eliminate flickering. If you do think they are too bright they are dimmable to match the brightness of your incandescent lights. We've had people from South Florida all the way up to Alaska use our mini light stringers from small residential homes to city buildings an Zoos. The lights are very durable and long lasting earning them certifications with Energy Star and UL listing. Please let us know if you need additional help with your future switch over! Happy holidays!
Are GE cool christmas lights energy saver, Do they cost more to leave on 24/7 than led. Or are led christmas lights the same as cool white? Nice video just trying to save energy costs
If they are incandescent bulbs then they will cost more to power, especially if you are leaving them on 24/7. LED lights will save your wallet. Cool white references what color they emit.
thank you. I am getting led. Also on replacing burnt out bulbs go they sell led bulbs C7. Never have seen led xmas bulbs sold separately. Maybe Amazon?
@@midnight1132 LED is a great choice. We sell the bulbs by themselves in packs. Here are some options you could consider and we have some holiday sales going on (better than Amazon's pricing!) There are a few different options for the different styles you can shop for. I listed them from lowest to highest price. Note that the first two options are sold in packs of 25 bulbs. The last one is packs of 5. I accidentally put cool white to line the roof, warm white to line the windows and then cool white on the bushes lining the front below the windows. I didn't know until I plugged them in. Do you have any advice on how to make this work aesthetically?
You could make your own color combo, which we call champagne-themed, by mixing the two colors together. Funny that the cool white is the one with the hotter temperature of 6000K, while warm white is just a cool 2800K.
I.... I dont get it. ... can you be more specific ? Im lost.. I think you skipped a step. I need a timestamp ..like where did you said it?😊 yours truly, typical youtuber.
Great video, and hilarious switch to all the unexpected humor after the very straight delivery up front. Multifaceted, multitalented guy! Thanks.
Wonderful video, thank you! You answered my question! I’m going with the warm white for my indoor Christmas tree this year! Thank you again!!
Thank you for this video! ❤
I preferred the warm lights then I bought some deer with the cold lights and you mix in some red greens and they all look good
GREAT VIDEO!
Glad you liked it!
