This reminds me of WAY BACK in the day I created a Hocky team of all WWF Wrestlers. I had the Undertaker, Kane, Diesel, Razor Ramone, Yokozuna was my Goalie. My team could skate for crap but we just beat the crap out of the opposition every night. From devastating checks to fighting as often as possible...teams didn't want to have anything to do with us lol.
You should try and Jersey people while fighting, as soon as the opponent is punching, dodge with RT, then hit LT quickly and you should have them in a bad position and you can just destroy them… try and a couple times and you will get the hang of it and you will never wanna fight normal again lol. Also if you get hit and ur helmet falls off I think you can hit B after it falls off and you won’t line change. Try these out and use them in the next video

That was actually a game mechanic where if you beat up the guys on the other team you would take them out of the game. Of course, you were beating them so badly that they couldn't continue, rather than them being ejected for losing. Still, though.
You gotta double tap y on a face off. That way you initiate the fight and can start standing up. If you time your dodges right, you can stay on your feet the entire time and they can’t grab you.

The rules of European/international hockey are slightly different from the NHL. That’s why you were ejected. Fighting isn’t allowed in that ruleset.

To fight without them grabbing you, you just have to double tap y and most of the time they won't try and grab you until later in the fight.
