Pacey always behaved like he never cared about anyone but he was most selfless he always there everyone.
That’s why I loved him the most in the show DEEP DOWN he was more the romantic type of guy than Dawson ever was!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pacey is one of the best characters ever created. You know why? Because of his humanity. Cause at the same time he is determined,loyal,mature when it comes to some things,and the best friend someone could have,he lacks confidence most of the times,he is a very doubtful guy,he is impulsive and a little bit pessimist. He can really hurt you with his honesty but can really help you with it too. He is relatable but inspiring at the same time. He is just a normal person,a real man.He is far from perfect,but the way he gives himself to the people he loves,the way he cares about them is the best thing about him and even when they hurt him,he keeps caring about them and helping them. A hurt man that never wanted to hurt anyone. Just...an amazing character.
Pacey was always the master of Grand Romantic Gestures. Who could forget him gifting Joey with a wall to inspire her artistic pursuits?!
the funny thing is.........she never pursued her artistic pursuits after that, right? i'm on season 5 right now and as far as i can see, she pretty much forgot all about art after she got the wall gift from pacey.
i don't think she ever even did anything with the wall
Whereas Dawson just thought of it as a hobby

@@TheGuyNobodyReallyLikes he allowed her but didn't encourage her like Pacey did. In season 2 when Joey first got into art he thought it was a hobby and boring. Also when Joey's wall was vandalised he didn't understand why Joey didn't want to just start over again
Once again, Pacey proves to be the best character in Dawson's Creek
Regardless that Dawson told Pacey to look after and be there for Joey he would still be there no matter what he loves her and he do anything to be by her side always caring about other people his friends to.
Now that’s how I love Pacey so much.
One of the best things Pacey has done for Joey. What has Dawson done for her
Dawson was there for Joey when her mom died. He was there for her when she broke her arm. He saved her from death that was to come from her dad's criminal friends. He gave money to her to go to college. He wrote her a college recommendation. He stayed up all night and built Joey a fence because she didn't have one and she wished that she had it. Dawson went all the way to Miami to tell Joey how he feels about her. Just how do you remember things? Learn to watch shows with your eyes open.
Ok wow honestly don't know why people still comparing these two they both did a lot for her Dawson was her childhood best friend and Pacey was the love of her life that person that got her even when they hated each other they both were her "person"

This show is unbelievably corny. I can't believe I watched it semi-regularly as a kid.
I for sure appreciate the vernacular; that the "kids" aren't stupid. They sound like they could be on the Senate floor compared to how "older teens" speak in current TV shows

Pacey overdid it with the grand gestures. He should've been studying more instead.
Tbh, i must be the only one who liked him better with Andi. They were a better couple, and Pacey was inspired to do better for himself.
That may be true but as he stated in season three he was always rewarded with sex for doing better! Either with Tamara or Andie! Never with Joey!

I agree. Everybody implies Dawson was not enough for Joey but Joey was not enough for Pacey: she was quite childish, insecure to the point of bringing things down. Pacey managed to help her mature in these aspects but only because he was already more mature than her.
Andie was already quite secure about herself and she was very proactive, her relationship with Pacey was normal until she started having those emotional breakdowns... yeah, she had a rough life but her anxiety was in control. I know her storyline can happen to anyone in real life but still, it felt like a cop out.
But she cheated on him 😕
When Pacey was with Andie, they were truly equal and were able to rescue each other. They covered for each other where they lacked. That was the true Pacey. With Joey, that wasn't the real Pacey.
That was real stupid of Pacey to not only invite the weirdo to come to the place, but get others involved in it too about something that didn't exist. They're lucky that it worked. The whole thing could have backfired and made things worse. Everything was just a joke to Pacey.
