Absolutely pure craziness to be so uncomfortable for so much money, and have to spend even more, when it probably will never be a great place to spend any long periods of time in. Especially when he has a warm/cool perfectly functioning camper. But, it’s his adventure to explore.
He sure does… spends money on a RV, just to pay money at other campsites just to complain of the cost, then buys a topper just to redo over… he’s hilarious 😂😂😂 rinse and repeat
For an additional $2,000, you could have had the company professionally insulated your Moonlander. Now the 2 year warranty is invalid since you did repairs on your own. You might want to get your eye checked for pink eye since it’s highly contagious.
Man Anthony ahould just bought a truck camper, he would had more space along with other amenities, probably for a few hundred dollars more than what he paid for the truck topper.
Be careful you don't end up with mould under the bed if it can't breathe. It's like sleeping with a mattress on the floor, after a couple of weeks mould will grow from lack of air
Hi Anthony! You should look into getting something like the Froli bed system or slats that will allow for air under your mattress. If it sits directly on metal or the styrofoam without air gaps, mold can easily grow.
If you have aches and pains sleeping on your side, a pillow between you knees really helps. I don’t really know why, but it was the only way I could sleep before I had my hip replaced last year. Now that I’m all healed up, I still do it as I grew used to it. Give it a shot Anthony, you never know.
Happy to see it warmed up enough for you to make the adjustments for the insulation. One more thing you will not have to worry about while on the road trip to Texas.
Anthony those foam mattress have instructions that tell you they have to sit for a while to open up and pop up. All foam pads have to "air out" to puff up. You cannot stick it under the mattress or that will not happen. It will look "deformed" until it sits out open to the air. Some of them say for 24 hours. Take it out from under the mattress. Hugs from NE Ohio.
Again-- like I suggested before-- get a Mr Buddy Heater-- get the large one & you can put a grate on top of it & cook on it which will also help heat up the inside while you cook. All my extended camping family have used the Mr Buddy Heaters for many years. Also get a battery operated heating pad or blanket for your bed.
If you put a sleeping bag on top of your mattress and then tuck a top sheet on that besides and then put a blanket then you should keep warmer but leave the sleeping bag zipped up just roll it out over your mattress
Anthony you should buy a piece of 1 inch ply wood to put under the foam, because the foam will start cracking and chipping after awhile, the plywood will keep it rigit
Don't expect a big change in heat retention with the foam in place. While foam board can be effective insulation in truck toppers (I used it in mine), the thickness you used has very little R-value. 1-1.5" is necessary to really keep the heat in, and even then only if you use it on the ceiling, too--that's where 80% of the heat escapes. But, what you did is better than nothing and if you combine it with a Mr. Heater Buddy (as other commentors suggested) you'll probably be OK.
Hi Anthony, wish you well at whatever you do. That’s why I watch you. You do things I would never try. I’m too spoiled by the conveniences I have. I’d be broke from hotel renting. Do you & enjoy
I love this setup Anthony I had never seen this type of hookup until you got it and if you can get that bad boy insulated and better able to retain heat it will be perfect.
If that white foam breaks under your bed it will be a mess with all the foam balls under your bed. I thing the foam mattress pads would insulate better😊
Get one of those silver windshield shades..looks like reflectix..put it under YOU (between the mattress and the covers! Or a 100%wool blanket on top of the mattress.
Wondering if there are any cheap parking garages you can park in to give you an extra layer of warmth and protection. I’m worried about you as it’s getting colder and colder out there. Def get some flannel sheets, an electric blanket, insulate the ceiling so heat doesn’t escape, and insulate the floor. You’re such a trooper and doing great! Just wanna offer ideas to help you stay warm.
Hmmm…styrofoam over a time period will begin to break down and break up. Why not use another form of insulation designed for such use? Maybe a custom place would give you some insight on what would be best to use.
Looks good to me but realize Anthony, you not getting any younger when you have better place to be warm Because count your blessings you are not Homeless that's your choice to be cold
Hello Anthony, happy Wednesday. I hope that the insulation makes your truck camper more comfortable. I know that you're going to make it very cozy. I'm so happy for you 😻❤️
Anthony, if i were you, I'd get one of those tri-folding, foam lounge chairs... The ones that open up into a bed... I'd use it to sleep on the floor... During the day, you can fold it and use it as seating... I'd use the space where you have your bed now for a cooking, eating, and desk area... Also, tension rods with heavy fabric that's been cut to size would help if added to the perimeter. You could do velcro strips to hold the fabric against the walls better... A shaggy floor rug and a pair of fur-lined crocs that you only wear inside to keep dirt out. Might sound complicated, but my vision would look nice if I was there to help 😅
Hi Anthony, after putting the insulation on the underside of your bed be on the lookout for your mattress sweating on the platform. You’re doing a great job !
A extra large heating pad that has an automatic cut off would be nice too. Mine has 5 settings, on warm will keep you toasty for about 4 hours if I’m not mistaken. I absolutely love mine.
Hello Anthony, Insulate Insulate Insulate and stay warm and toasty The topper goes on top but putting under to flatten it out is a good idea. Happy Camping and stay safe.😊
Looks like memory foam needed about an inch or more thick. Good job though, troubleshooting making yourself comfortable. ❤ Stay safe Anthony and stay warm. Safe travels.
Hi Anthony make sure you put up the DampRid to keep the moisture in the camper down and to avoid mold. But glad you are getting the foam boards up it will help you out in the summer as well. When are you coming to VA? I have a little gift for you.❤❤❤ love the camper
Hi Anthony, You have been a busy camper lately! How are you adjusting to the cold weather & city sounds (noises) in Baltimore? Always something exciting to do and good eats in B-town.
Anthony, praying that you don't get sick 🤧be extra careful. Please wear a 😷working with & using foam boards like that, also check for any sight of forming mold/mildew, just concerned. Stay warm & enjoy your trip.
Hi Anthony, your looking good and happy. Great job on the insulation, take your time make small adjustments, have fun, no "rushin" you are american LOL!🤣🥳🙏
Hi Anthony, something to pomder Amazon sells non vented wall mount propaine heaters. This could powered by a 5 gal propaine tamk you carry in the truck bed and put on the ground outside and attached via a hose. If you were in a city park you could secure the tank to the bumber with a bycycle lock.
I have a comment and some questions. If you get moisture won't it get under the stuff your using for insulation and get wet and possibly mold ? If you put it under your bed is it strong enough to hold weight ? Why don't you but one of those nice comfortable pads you use on a camping cot ? As far as covering the bottom of the bed if it's not to wide use valances instead of curtains ? They are short. You should maybe get a camping cot. I would be afraid of mold honestly. It seems you would need some kind of sealer to prevent mold.
🤔Thursday?? Calendar say Wednesday. Gosh that’s a tough style of living, being hot, cold, unable to shower & use the restroom at your leisure is rough. More Power to you Bro ✊🏾
Not sure if u said, I assume the foam isn't toxic in a small space & are u going to cover the foam around the walls with some type of fabric so it dosen't crumble on u, especially when sleeping?
Absolutely pure craziness to be so uncomfortable for so much money, and have to spend even more, when it probably will never be a great place to spend any long periods of time in. Especially when he has a warm/cool perfectly functioning camper. But, it’s his adventure to explore.

I love how you can buy what you want & do what you want to do for yourself. As well as how you want. Keep doing you Anthony.
For an additional $2,000, you could have had the company professionally insulated your Moonlander. Now the 2 year warranty is invalid since you did repairs on your own. You might want to get your eye checked for pink eye since it’s highly contagious.
Great point… I didn’t even think about the warranty becoming invalid 😮
Man Anthony ahould just bought a truck camper, he would had more space along with other amenities, probably for a few hundred dollars more than what he paid for the truck topper.
Man you need a good heat source I don't care what type of insulation you have and use.
Be careful you don't end up with mould under the bed if it can't breathe. It's like sleeping with a mattress on the floor, after a couple of weeks mould will grow from lack of air
mold
Mould in UK where I live and educated but thanks for putting American spelling in@@annettechuna6197
Hi Anthony! You should look into getting something like the Froli bed system or slats that will allow for air under your mattress. If it sits directly on metal or the styrofoam without air gaps, mold can easily grow.
We use this in our RV best thing we ever did works wonders.
Ain’t no fancy editing on this channel.

Happy to see you make things work out for your lifestyle. Keep safe n healthy.
You may as well just put a regular truck topper on used an air mattress and slept in it that way .. would have been cheaper 🤷🏽♀️
I've been an FOA Squad member so long, I remember your SUV/Minivan from back in the day. You've come a long way friend. ❤ Good job.
Happy to see it warmed up enough for you to make the adjustments for the insulation. One more thing you will not have to worry about while on the road trip to Texas.

Anthony please wear as mask with using spray chemicals..❤ Don't want you inhaling bad particles..
You're supposed to let it st for a few hours to puff all the way out.

Your camera quality is awesome!
That topper is a waste of money. He should have got truck camper instead. He needs to do more research when making big purchases.

Great job young man.
If that white foam breaks under your bed it will be a mess with all the foam balls under your bed. I thing the foam mattress pads would insulate better😊
I can’t believe you voided the warranty by doing this work yourself. What a big mistake!
I’m proud of you! Bravo!
Hi Anthony. Would it be expensive to get your camper professionally insulated.. just asking
I love Anthony’s life 😂 he’s so much like me, just out for random, little projects and stuff, random adventures 👏 🎉❤
Well, Anthony, you’ve done a lot thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day.
I put an egg crate form topper over my mattress from Walmart and love it. I 😴 sleep well now.
Anthony, good work on insulation. Another blogger put reflectix under her carpet on her van floor. Safe travels.👩👧👦👌👍🤓
Get one of those silver windshield shades..looks like reflectix..put it under YOU (between the mattress and the covers! Or a 100%wool blanket on top of the mattress.

Styrofoam is used in insulating campers.
Looks good to me but realize Anthony, you not getting any younger when you have better place to be warm Because count your blessings you are not Homeless that's your choice to be cold
You could have purchased 1 large panel and made fewer measurements and cuts, as well as, covered the seams.
Hello Anthony, happy Wednesday. I hope that the insulation makes your truck camper more comfortable. I know that you're going to make it very cozy. I'm so happy for you 😻❤️
Hey Anthony!!!! I LOVE your fancy editing😂😂😂 Its like none other ((HUGS))
Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤......
Hi! Anthony! Blessings from N. Carolina! I am too excited for this new adventure and can’t wait to see what all you do with your new truck camper! ❤

Futon
Keep up the great work on the camper. I can already see the improvements, Anthony ❤.
back for another episode I hope your staying warm friend
Thankyou take care
All those little foam pieces would make my OCD brain explode.
Hi Anthony, after putting the insulation on the underside of your bed be on the lookout for your mattress sweating on the platform. You’re doing a great job !
Cut you out a cardboard template then cut the insulation
A extra large heating pad that has an automatic cut off would be nice too. Mine has 5 settings, on warm will keep you toasty for about 4 hours if I’m not mistaken. I absolutely love mine.
Hello Anthony ❤
That's a grate idea you have going on with the foam .
Hello Anthony, Insulate Insulate Insulate and stay warm and toasty The topper goes on top but putting under to flatten it out is a good idea. Happy Camping and stay safe.😊
Hi 👋 Anthony. Happy Day. Wishing you a fun and safe Trip with Michael. Good job on installation. ❤🙏🏼👍
Hello Anthony, Happy Thursday, stay warm ❤
Good to see you
Looks like memory foam needed about an inch or more thick. Good job though, troubleshooting making yourself comfortable. ❤ Stay safe Anthony and stay warm. Safe travels.
The triangle section should be easy. Just cut a square and an cut it in half.
Hi Anthony make sure you put up the DampRid to keep the moisture in the camper down and to avoid mold. But glad you are getting the foam boards up it will help you out in the summer as well.
When are you coming to VA? I have a little gift for you.❤❤❤ love the camper
It takes about 24 hrs for that foam mattress to expand.
I love your new truck camper/topper. What are you going to insulate the ceiling with?
Try using flannelsheets on the bed. I'll be looking for the results. The cotton sheets are too thin.
God bless you Anthony
Hi Anthony, You have been a busy camper lately! How are you adjusting to the cold weather & city sounds (noises) in Baltimore? Always something exciting to do and good eats in B-town.
My life is so boring after work that I enjoy seeing what anthony is up to 😂
Anthony, praying that you don't get sick 🤧be extra careful. Please wear a 😷working with & using foam boards like that, also check for any sight of forming mold/mildew, just concerned. Stay warm & enjoy your trip.
Do not forget the floor. Cold air rises. I used insulation under rubber floor mats taped to seal seams.
Cold air sinks. But it's still a good idea to insulate the floor.
Warm air rises
To go over your insulation to be more esthetically pleasing, what about peel and stick wallpapers? You can get a neutral color. Just a thought ❤
Hmmmm that’s a thought. Does it come in squares?
You did a good job.
Might get an electric blanket to sleep on and under
That mattress topper you got is literally nothing. Idk who thought that that product was even sellable.
I’m lost!! What happened to the tow behind trailer?! 😮
Anthony, Anthony, you were supposed to let the foam mattress set out overnight 😂😂😂lol, lol😂.
It will expand the next day.
Maybe putting foam better the carpet in the truck bed walls would help keep you warm also
Hi Anthony, your looking good and happy. Great job on the insulation, take your time make small adjustments, have fun, no "rushin" you are american LOL!🤣🥳🙏
A electric blanket might help with the cold
Dude get you a Mr buddy heater . A get twenty pound tank. It’s lot better than that electric heater
RVmattress company ( I went with a twin XL mattress ). I went with the "wide wings" on my moonlander, did you?
Anthony keep it on the top to give the foam time to expand all the way.
Hopefully the foam will expand fully.
Can you use insulation on the floor that's under your bed?
Those mattresses supposed to be opened out for about 2 days before sleeping on it.
It has to inflate, relax Anthony. Read the instructions I'm sure it's takes a minute to plump up
Bless your heart….you didn’t give the mattress topper time to expand! 🤦🏽♀️
Hope you are not allergic to the foam board ! Be careful if foam gets damp you could get mold and get really sick . Keep watching and stay safe !!!
Thanks for Sharing
Did you get rid of the RV?
🤔Thursday?? Calendar say Wednesday. Gosh that’s a tough style of living, being hot, cold, unable to shower & use the restroom at your leisure is rough. More Power to you Bro ✊🏾
I was like wait a minute 😂😂
Does anyone know why he doesn't have the other camper that was bigger? I'm very behind on Anthony's videos.
Hey Anthony have a bless day God Bless❤
Much love from NORFOLK, Virginia ❤love itttt 🎉
Have you considered an electric mattress pad?
Hi Anthony the materials will fluff up I think
Not sure if u said, I assume the foam isn't toxic in a small space & are u going to cover the foam around the walls with some type of fabric so it dosen't crumble on u, especially when sleeping?
You got it hang8n* over th3 foot. Pull it up
Won’t that foam crack from the weight?😊
👍👏❤️
Anthony I thought you said you were not calling it a topper… you were calling it a CAMPER… what changed your mind 😂
Hi Anthony
What’s the R value of that insulation board? The higher the number, the better the quality.
