    Great narration by you two...really enjoyed the look-see. I like that jib you use for your camera, too...it's nice to see the two of you having such a good time. I don't blame you; I wouldn't want to be there during spring break either!

    Nice video. We stayed at the Exotic Caye resort there in San Pedro a couple years ago. Then took a trip inland to the Mayan ruins in Guatemala. Was an amazing trip.

      ***** Hi, did you fly to the mainland or take the water taxi? Who did you take the tour to the ruins with? Thanks.

      DrMucker Thanks! We have a ton of questions. How is the beach in San Pedro? Does it smell? Did you mention not to go during Easter? We want to stay at the Royal Caribbean resort cabanas. Are they okay? We are looking at April 9 to 16th. Thanks again!!!!

      angelabutful1 right now the beach has some sargasso seaweed on it but that changes on a daily basis, it can when the weed is bad ..sorry dont know the Royal Carribean but we have not found many that are not up to standard .. I like to not be crowded and easter christmas are a little too busy for me .. that is just a personal thing .. ask away either send me a message here or to my email .. peter_the_wolf@hotmail.com

      james dickerson there are lots of beaches just as you go over the bridge in or out of town its really a nice little one but each of the resorts have their own beaches or docks to to swim off .. we will be home so you will have to enjoy it by yourselves and I am sure you will ;; its tough not to have a good time .. this road is now paved all the way to Belizean shores resort .. enjoy yourself

    Hi there, I was also wondering if it is difficult to get a tour to the Mayan ruins from San Pedro. We were looking at Tuff E Nuff to take us. Thanks a million!

      angelabutful1 San pedro is a great little place but being on an island adds time to mainland tours .. tuff enuff goes to laminai which is on the new river .. great smaller set of ruins .. if you look through our videos you will find several ruins..Caracol is the biggest and the hardest to get to .. (due to distance) Xunantunich and ATM caves are also doable from san pedro .. they just become very long days .. if you go to the mainland for a few days ruins are much easier..

    I'm looking at Google Earth, and I don't see a bridge over the waterway between our hotels. Was it gone for a time?

    • @DrMucker
      @DrMucker  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      those pictures are really old .. its odd .. there is entire piece of the city missing from those maps..they did rebuild the bridge though .. so dont worry ..

      Did the development south of the airport get built? It looks like they may need some docks.

      Richard Burns Old post. It turns out the bridge was out for a time. It got rebuilt with a really funky one, and they're charging tolls to save up for a better one.

      Richard Burns Everything there seemed to work fine. The potholes keep you from falling asleep and crashing, so that works. The bridges do the job. Traffic lights are overrated. Not everyplace in the world needs to be Manhattan.
