You have no idea how huge that story was in Brazil. It was on open TV where ther's only like 8 channels and most people here don't have cable, so really all the country knew about that. He was a big time celebrity as it's a very rare thing to have a show on those few channels. Any granma on the supermarket would know about that story. It didn't help that the girl's father is a VERY famous singer here too. Like VERY.. he has a movie about him and his brother that is one one the most viewd movies in Brazil's cinema history, just so you know the case how enourmous of a deal that was. Proudy of Rafinha for staying true to himself and achieving so many great things in spite of that. I thing most people would not be able the handle that kind of national scale pressure.
Rafi’s part begin in 23:37, you’re welcome.
Obrigado 😅
Thank you my friend, you're a friend 😂
Interesting how I wasn’t into Rafi Bastos back in Brazil, his comedy style changed, his personality changed (it evolved IMO) for what I can see doing comedy in America, and I’m loving it. Great interview!
Not really. He very much maintained his style dude, you're just balls licking the US
adored this greg guy. brazil we should make him famous
hes already
Yes duda freitas
Greg, it's kinda understated in the episode, but this guy was the BIGGEST comic here in the 2010s, i mean selling out theaters all over the country, like Sebastian Maniscalco or something. When he got cancelled it was a huge deal, national story, a bunch of articles being written, about "what's the limit of comedy" and all this bs, everybody from all walks of life having discussions about free speech. So he was a big deal.
It's also pretty funny to me that he's doing mics in the usa meanwhile he's already a millionaire from comedy.
CQC (Custe o Que Custar) = Whatever it Takes
Brazil’s number 1. The unapologetic Rafinha Bastos. Real fans be with him since the dawn of brazilian digital era. It’s good to know he found a way to reinvent himself overseas. Cheers!
RAFIII, love him! thanks for bringing him in
This guy is AMAZING!!
You've got the hook Greg, Stoner Greg, funny Dad who keeps forgetting what he was saying, lean in. Great episode
Thank you!
Rafinha is amazing, Of course we've missed him here in Brazil
We still do
I loved this episode! And that accent is *chef's kiss* 🔥
Damn! I missed Rafi's interview! his was my first time tuning in. I did so to see Rafi. I think he is hilarious! After listening to you
Fun fact: in Brazil they type k multiple times to say that they are laughing, so kkk is a laugh, not a racist coming out.
That's what we want u to think. KKK! 😂
Is the equivalent of lol
Great talk w Rafi.
Rafinha always stood out, and has a story well before the stand up. He was one of the first brazilians to have a comedy channel on TH-cam.
Greg, next time you meet him, ask him about "pagina do rafinha", you will be even more amazed!
greg is such a great host
Rafinha pioneiro e um dos maiores comediantes de Standup do Brasil, ele é o cara
Hola Greg! Hope the 3 of you's have adjusted well to the now 4 of you's! 🖤
Set the table!
Set the table!!
Rafinha Bastos moendo na gringa!! Foda demais!!! 🔥🔥
he talkS ❤❤❤❤❤
Super Rafi , he is a superstar🎉
Vim ver depois do inteligência ilimitada!
Até em inglês o Rafinha finge q esquece o nome de gente famosa kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
I think he was only wrong when he said that it wasn't the whole of Brazil talking about it, because the whole of Brazil really talked about it, from the youngest to the oldest, everyone talked about it, and yet he remained faithful. The truth is that the media was against him because the media wanted to maintain control of the masses, but the people on the street still like him to this day. Everyone knows he was right, even today in the media many people have admitted it...Rafinha, vc é zika, mano!
Greg!! Call Fat Mike from NOFX. Are you sure Fat Mike is not your brother??? 😂
Rafinha é sensacional!!!🇧🇷
Muito bom!
damn the tribal tattoo is sick
Yes is sick, he's recovering tho 😂
CQC means "Whatever it takes" // "Custe o Que Custar"
Funny to be here beeing brazillian… you guys have no idea the size of Rafinha, once the most influential person on twitter GLOBAL.
greg saying "danny devito" first when guessing a short comedian is another reason I'm a greg guy...I would've said the same thing #radriders
A história da Wan Nessa em inglês fico muito melhor
This is so weird, the 20 first min talking about s3x to some closeted gay boy off camera, weirdest stuff ever on YT, lol. And eating women's feet is the best... Sounds weird too but yet , it's way more normal than what just happened there
Dude, you seriously need to change your background ooor at least iron it , for god sake, lol
Greg got a hook.
He's a funny guy
That's the hook
Yea but i could be a cowboy
@GregStonecomedy My wife frequently calls me cowboy at the dinner table. Minus the boy part.
Hahahahahha your wife calls you a cow?? I don’t know why that makes me laugh so hard
Here’s dinner you cow
@@GregStonecomedy she makes me moo for my supper. It's utterly embarrassing
RAFIIII
🇧🇷
duvido que a ana paula pedrao tem intelecto pra sustentar uma conversa informal em ingles por tanto tempo
From Brazil we dont know either how this guy is famous. Talks too much shit, but none of them are funny its just a sad reflection of Brazilian audience
Rafinha rox
🤪
😝
That's not true. We had Seinfeld on cable in Brazil already, and Jo Soares was already doing stand-up, though sitting mostly because he was pretty fat.
And the stand-up scene didn't really start here in São Paulo, but in Rio.
Theres Chico Anisio as Well
José Vasconcelos foi um dos primeiros, mas não na pegada Americana... O Stand Up estourou com o Rafi e alguns outros...
They did some "stand-up", but never took serious, never professional stand-up, they were known for the street jokes and characters. Rafinha, Mansfield, Danilo, Diogo,.... they created the scene in Sao Paulo, and at the same time it was happening in Rio. Ask any stand-up comediant in Brazil and they will tell Rafinha is OG
@@danieltavaresguerreiro9347 i second everything you said
So... Hes a gay, right?
